I have two things to babble about before I go to sleep.
1) I started rewatching Weiβ Kreuz tonight, and no amount of knowing how horribly cliche and lame it is can reduce my enjoyment of it. Actually, despite the age of the show, the art and the voice performances are actually quite good. Even the background characters, who aren't big names most of the time. If anyone throws me for a loop it's actually Koyasu, because for some reason that's not how Aya sounds in my head.
After all these years, I still love these characters; love the ridiculous predictable plots; love all of it. People can judge me, I really don't care. XD I'm also importing most of the CDs again, to see if I still like the music as much as I remember. I guess we'll see.

2) It's CD Japan sale time again, and even though I have no money I'm poking through things and making a list for things that I like and might want some day.
-New Kusuda Toshiyuki CD
-Meisa's "One More Drama" CD - First Press, with DVD and poster. ^_^
-Nao-kun's Yumekibo Ressha Limited edition still available.
-Amuro Namie Single "Break It/Get Myself Back"
-Crystal Kay's "Journey" - because I need more of her music.
-Nao-KUN'S "Infinity" album - since I recently realized that I really need more of hi
-As a note that I can't be bothered to research at the moment, I should also look into finishing my collection of HaruDaki manga and Drama CDs, since I think they're all completed now. CDs got up to volume 8 and the manga finished at Volume 14. Since the CDs tended to cover a little more than one volume that means the CDs are probably complete as well. And I could really use more MikiShin in my life lately. As well as MoriMori. ^_^

Other ranty things could include ways in which my computer is freaking me out lately, ways in which work is crazy, and ways in which I am not working on packing or cosplay nearly enough right now, but I'm happy in my escapism so I'll let all that be for the moment.

-I did NOT get called into work and therefore got a real actual day off. For reals. Very exciting.

-I finally got a dragon egg! Help me take care of it?
Adopt one today! Adopt one today! (Now I have two, so I have to see when they hatch and what they are before I name them... <3)

-I also finally finished listening to the 'Answer' drama CD. Hotness on a stick.

-In other news!! The painting! It is done! (With the exception of some touch-ups to shading and some modifications of the falling petals)
I'm even motivated enough to post some pictures for you all, since I've been promising.
-[Edit 1: Until I can update all the links here, go to the Saku gallery]

-[Edit 2: Watched Sho-kun's fabulous and hilarious appearance on Oshareism. He... I... don't even have words. If you haven't watched it somewhere. DO IT NOW.]

-I'm in a very open and happy music mood today, so if you have anything you think I /might/ like and want to share... this may be a good time.

-Lastly... I've decided that Arashi is cheaper than TeniMyu and am going to try to avoid the ridiculousness that is all the merch and duplicate merch associated with Imperial Presence. I mean... two photosets each for the two casts? Plus new pamphlets and whatnot for October? *headdesk* I'll buy a second copy of Dream'A'Live... it'll be cheaper. :P

The plan is to be up early enough tomorrow to get the machine-sewing parts of the kimono done before work tomorrow. And Inoue-san /does/ seem to be heping me get sleepy... if only it weren't 4:30 already... *headdesk*

My soundtrack this morning was the Sunflower Collection, especially "H2O" (Ernst) and "Gold Rush~21st Century" (Olivie).

So this morning I was /very/ tired, but I'm getting better. The kanji section of the R&W final kicked me in the face, but the second section wasn't nearly as bad.
Thanks to Tammy being a wonderful, generous person, I have a working CD player for a little while and got to listen to Kimeru's "the beginning" album as well as a couple of Drama CDs.
Short Rants )
Possibly more on those later. Right now I have a paper to write for Hester, and oddly I have little regret about how I've spent the past few days. I can't even make myself worry about money, or rather, don't want to. ^_^
Off I go to rant about boundaries and such... ah, Japanese culture.

[Lyrics/Kanji] for Current Music. Shimokawa Mikuni just rocks all over the place. I've yet to hear a song of hers that I don't like. ^_^

Current Bishounen: Ernst (not least because of "H2O" and how awesome Morikawa-san was singing it live. ^_^)

Spite.

I won't ask why. I know the answer. So... my last unit test in R&W was not not good. As such, I am not allowed to read fic for a week. Of course, this is after I'd just gotten back into reading after nearly a week without... and Liddell-sama updates. *sigh* Yeah, I know, my own damn fault. At least I finished "In the Card's" and "Circle" yesterday.
In other news:
The katsudon at the cafeteria tasted a little funny today... somehow not quite as good, maybe it was just in my head.
I'm sad that I have to take Seitokai Shikkobu II back to Tsutaya tommorow. I should have just saved up and bought it. *cries*
I am /not/ actually getting sick. I have decided this.
Assuming my money from Carol comes through, I get to go to an actual Japanese cosplay event this weekend. Woohoo! I have no idea what takes place at an event, but I'll have to read through more TB and brush up on my Hokuto-speak.
Meh, class now, whatever.

Current Bishounen: Ishikawa Hideo

So... today was lazy and fun.
Of Fanfic, Parks and Curry Rice )
Once I got home, I finished up "Circle" (which left me almost in tears, and wanting more... *pouts hopefully at [personal profile] paxnirvana*), and then headed down to wait for a computer. Listening to Seitokai Shikkobu with manga doesn't help to much, as they don't follow the text very cosely, but was still fun. Narita Ken is wonderfully amusing as the Seitokaicho. ^_^
Now I'm off to try to find some more fic and then head to bed. Back to classes tomorrow. Yep. ^_^

Current Bishounen: 久保田誠人(くぼたまこと)「私立荒磯高等学校生徒会執行部」

Kizuna

Today was long... still will be probably. Woke up at 9 for 'Kyou kara Ma-oh'... which gets more subtexty by the episode, and still looks really cool.
Then I showered really fast and took off with Tim to the BookOff on Route 1. Bought another 100 yen worth of 10-yen singles, and started a member card. (Now that I've already spent like $50+ at various BookOffs... I felt really dumb)
Then I cought a bus down to Hirakata-shi, and an Express to Tanbabashi to meet up with the Religion class for our field trip to the Tenrikyo headquarters. I was early, but hung out with James for a bit, so that was cool. We randomly ran into Andy and Alice, who had not been planning to go on the field trip, but ended up coming anyway.
Tenrikyo was awesome. I really like thier ideas, and the way they present themselves. It's nice to find a religion that I think I could really truly follow without reservation
More recently, I had curry for dinner and I have CD dramas. I like this renting them for 300 yen and ripping them to mp3. It makes me happy.
Notes on '絆 - Kizuna II -' (yaoi warning) )
Ok, ok... now it's 10:45 and I've listened to parts of Disc 2 like three times. I'm going to go do something else. ^_^

Current Bishounen: Ranmaru and Tashiro (mostly Tashiro)

First off: I did some research on the new drama CD series that [profile] snbmeg scanned an ad for.
The title is 'Shounen Onmyouji' (onmyouji being Japanese semi-daoist spirit-magic users, like Subaru and Seishirou from X). The first drama disc's subtitle is 'Searching the Shadows of a Foreign Country'.

Of course, that was actually the most recent thing I did, after sleeping through my one class, shopping and working on flash cards while watching first Nao-kun on the kitchen TV and then Weiss on the downstairs one.
Previously Delayed Rant on Weiss Last Live '03 - Tagesanbruch )
Then we watched Prince of Tennis with The Fangirls... it is so very, very bad. But I know I'll probably like it if I watch from the begining. And then I came here, and began tis entry. So that brings me full circle. Yep... and now I'm off to study. Yep. Tommorrows gonna suck, and I won't even have RELOAD or Paradise Cure to help make it better. *sigh*

Current Bishounen: Miki Shin-ichirou and Yuuki Hiro
