Ghost Friends 1
The production values may be a bit low... but it looks interesting. And less obvious and contrived than 'Quiz Show'. Also, pretty male cast. Yes.
The lead is cute and comfortably 普通. Which I like a lot.
And really, of all the B-level dramas I've watched. It might be the least cracky. So there.

Edison no Haha 3
I am really enjoying this show. I don't even know any of the actors in it. (Except Kikurin, but I didn't know him when I started DLing it). It's cute and inspirational all at once, and I'm curious to see where it ends up heading.
Also, yay for easy comprehension of science with subtitles. >.>

Now that I've spent the last two hours making huge order-reference sheets for wool felt andYudu products based on the JoAnn website and my own Yudu-SKU database, I think I shall sleep. Or work on writing for... that thing I'm thinking about. ^^;;

After a last edit: )

I slept /way/ longer than planned today. Then finally dragged myself over to my moms house, where I spent the day with my sister setting up my Yudu. Made three shirts off my first screen (I kept it so I can make more though). IT IS SO AWESOME. I love the whole process, it was so much fun and really really neat. While waiting for the screen to dry I tried to help with algebra homework. It's hard. Man, I felt dumb.

Got home, ate Tiger Lily, got [profile] starlit_dragon and dropped off a shirt with [profile] ashitara, watched some Avatar while I worked on Masaomi's jacket, then took [profile] starlit_dragon home and went to the gym.

I actually really like running. My shins do not. I'm going to have to work to rectify this situation. Dancing, however, we all agree on and is lots of fun. Weights too.

I have two t-shirt design ideas on my plate now. Both of which I might actually use on things other than apparel if they come out well.

I am finally feeling tired now. Will try to sleep.
Stupid open-overnight-open-late night schedule. I want my boss back.

Also: WIG AND SHOE SALE AT LIFE OF THE PARTY THIS WEEKEND! Wheee~!

Since people seemed interested last time:
Here's more pictures of Masaomi-in-progress...
Now with completed kimono and applique sample... )

Tomorrow, I have most of the day off and then the rotation in Home Dec. I hope... I hope that everything will work out. I'm kind of at a loss about it again. It's been 6 months, the last one Emily did most of and we were fully prepped. This time... I really really just don't know.

Friday I have plans to take my Yudu over to Kimball and hangout with my sister and experiment. I wish I had more emulsion, but I might try to get some liquid before I go over, we'll see. At the very least, I should have a couple nifty 'cool&soul' t-shirts by the time I'm done. ^_^

Watched today: Uta no Onii-san 3-4. Mei-chan no Shitsuji 1-3.
(None of the Dramas this season are really really excellent. Though I'm enjoying all three that I'm watching. (Yes, I should probably pick up Voice too... blah.) Who knew that UtaOnii would actually be serious. Also, in Mei-chan I knew I recognized more butlers than Hiro and Jutta. Kei-chan and KatoKei are both in it too! And I flipped out when I. Looked up Shinobu's actor. He's the younger cook from Bambino. The one I called Kaidoh. This characters is also more than a little MURAKI-like and it's scaring me a little. New backstory to add to my mental picture of Muraki though. Guh.)

Sewed Today: Not enough

I did accomplish lots of my errands today though, which is nice. Tomorrow hopefully my SO will be processed enough that I can bring my Yudu home (and check if it's missing parts, apparently some of the pallet-sets were. ;_;

--------On an unrelated note...

「悲しみを分かち合って、涙の数減らすように 喜びを分かち合えないほうが辛いね」
"We share our pain, as if it will decrease the number of our tears. But having no joy to share is far more painful."

I can not get this line out of my head. It's one of the most beautiful statements I've ever heard in Japanese. And it just... won't go away.

Imagine for a moment that this kimono was closer to 'done' and a little further from 'ahahahahaNO':

Since I forced the picture on my flist, I'll cut the rant )

Also, for myself and anyone who cares - this is what my sewing space looks like when the apartment is actually cleaned up! I actually missed a lot because I was a little too far in. Another step or two back and you'd see several more piles of projects, fabric, and more drawers of stuff.

Now, sleeping. Two more days until my day off. Then only one day before my /weekend/.
Am very excited, but will try not to let myself go nuts with my Yudu once I get it. This week, for sure!

There will be new TeniPuri games. For the DS. "Doubles no Oujisama" 'Girls, Be Grecious' (with female PC) and 'Boys, Be Glorious' (with male PC).
I need want Girls-side for Tezuka and Kura. I want Boys-side for Fuji and Sanada. But what I really want to know is: WHERE IS THE HIGA!? (Also, why no Zaizen, Konami? What did the punk ever do to you?).
The game seems to be about a 'street doubles tournament'. You get to play doubles with your chosen partner and you control the flow of the tennis by gaining the catchphrases (and moves) of other characters. Anyway... they're on my list now. And if I happen to stumble across a million dollars, I may try to get both just so I can have the super-special talk CD with Ryoma plus BUCHOU(s) (Including Kite, so WTH Konami?). (Even though you get the CD by mail order and I am not in Japan. ;_; So sad.)
Prior to purchasing either of those though, I really really want Haruka 3 plus Izayoiki for PSP. It's cheaper on Amazon.jp, but they won't ship it to me in America. Because they're jerks.

Unfortunately both fall a sad second place to my screen printer. Which I get to order on monday, I think. So excited. Oh yes. I may end up running my own IST that same day just so that I can pick it up and pay at my store. We'll see.

[Edit Edit: Sorry for badly borked html. All better now, except for a couple of pictures that I haven't uploaded yet.]

So... just as soon as I gave up on that personal screen printing machine...
Demos start in the Superstores on February 28th. Damnit I WANT ONE!!! (I'm wondering how fast I can get a SKU and special order one... hopefully with a coupon before they switch the fine print.) Nevermind the fact that this - like the cricut machines and most embroidery machines - could be a massive money-sink in terms of supplies. The site has no prices up yet, and the JAS website is no help at all yet.

I have plans to do things today, but now my brain is full of screen printing and wood block printing and other nonsense.

I did successfully make Omuraisu for breakfast though, which was /fabulous/. And cheap. Am very excited about the potential of this for future... though I don't think it would keep all that well overnight, so probably can't take it to work.
