Day of fluff

setraFirst off: I did some research on the new drama CD series that snbmeg scanned an ad for.
The title is 'Shounen Onmyouji' (onmyouji being Japanese semi-daoist spirit-magic users, like Subaru and Seishirou from X). The first drama disc's subtitle is 'Searching the Shadows of a Foreign Country'.
Judging from the characters listed with the seiyuu, it looks like it will follow the adventures of a young Abe no Seimei (a really famous Heian-period Onmyouji... the main character in the live action movie 'Onmyouji', if you've seen that).
Ishida Akira will be playing young Seimei (if I'm reading the cast list right). I don't regognize any of the other character names sadly... but it sounds really cool. Should be nice and demon-full at least.

Kobayashi Sanae (Akiko?) [New actress, but has done a lot lately. She was Madoka in Get Backers, Lilith in YtBtHnT, the blonde kid in Saiyuki RELOAD and Touya Akira in Hikaru no Go]
Morikawa Toshiyuki (Seiryu - think what you will with that name, but the kanji are right for the Chinese Dragon God of War and the East) [Aoki in X TV, Tatsumi in YnM, Goh in SB, etc.]
Seki Toshihiko (Yukinari) [Duo, Sanzo, Luva, Legato, etc.]

Of course, that was actually the most recent thing I did, after sleeping through my one class, shopping and working on flash cards while watching first Nao-kun on the kitchen TV and then Weiss on the downstairs one.
Weiss has gotten a lot better since the old days. Since the other live DVD especially. They have all grown, and thier voices are a lot stronger. They also tend to do parts, solos and harmony a lot more now, which is awesome. They've also all gotten more comfortable performing live... except Koyasu, who moves like a fish.
Miki wore a t-shirt in costume as Gluehen Yohji, but the hat looked damn good on him. Omi's coat had purple trim, and he got teased for it during the MC bit. Ken's jacket was awesome, but the material was too light, so it looked odd up close. And Koyasu's coat... I want it. He didn't foosh with it nearly as much as he could have. It was amazingly well constructed though... I wish I was the seamstress that got to work on those costumes.
The songs were awesome... "Honeyrider" was switched over to a Miki+Yuuki duet because Koyasu and Tomokazu got to do "Bosonova, Cassonova" it rocked. They also broke "Beautiful Alone" up into duet parts, and solos, which was cool. They did "Jeepstar" in encore too... which made me really happy.
The whole second half of the show was just Tagesanbruch songs, which were just... awesome. Their new music is just so much better... though some of the live orchestrations were a little odd.
The band didn't bother me as much after watching the show for a while. They're still pretty weird, but I can try to overlook them.
Yuuki Hiro is one of the most beautiful, graceful people I've ever seen. I can only aspire to grow into as beautiful a woman as he already is.
Miki Shin-ichirou... should not do the things he does to me with his voice. I love him so much. *cuddles Yohji*
Ok... I'm done now... really, before I go all mushy and start ranting about how much I wish I'd been able to see him at NeoRoma.
Then we watched Prince of Tennis with The Fangirls... it is so very, very bad. But I know I'll probably like it if I watch from the begining. And then I came here, and began tis entry. So that brings me full circle. Yep... and now I'm off to study. Yep. Tommorrows gonna suck, and I won't even have RELOAD or Paradise Cure to help make it better. *sigh*
