My mood took an abrupt turn for the worse this evening. I'm sure my body is trying to tell me something about sickness and sleep and skipping breaks, but I'm going to go ahead and blame it on rayon thread.

Jess has been doing a masterful job of putting up with my bullshit about this thread and this costume, which I appreciate a lot. I know I'm a pain to deal with when I freak out about this stuff.

We watched a lot of shiny today. Rikkai Second and Countdown and AnS and GRA with Nikki (Still more of that to be seen later). And then later, the Rokkaku backstage and the San-dai Supporter's DVD. I cried. I blame lateness and slight intoxication, ok?

Also... new car. I... don't know what to think. I'm surprised my mother didn't explode. And I cried driving Hokuto home tonight. I'm sure it will be fine, it's just... beyond me on a lot of levels.

Current Music: "Top of the Stage for the Tennis" (don't any of you talk to me about engrish)

The back applique on Kagetoki is done. I think the last detailing I did looks bad and Ireally don't like it. But then... I think I said this about Akram too. I'm folding it up and putting it away for a day. I'm already 3/4 of the way through my thread spool... and Maybe 1/2 way done with the applique. Probably less since there's more detail on the front panels.

Meanwhile, I'm watching B5.

Give me time to do things apparently.
Kagetoki's base coat is cut out, but will only be temporarily assembled and then taken apart to applique. Got a new bobbin case (used the one I bought for Carol actually, but I'll get her another), which seems to have fixed my thread tension issues. So far. Also cleaned and reassembled my tension discs, hopefully this will help.

I've also been watching Babylon 5 while I work on Kagetoki the past couple of days.
( this rant will get longer when I have more time )
