setraGive me time to do things apparently.
Kagetoki's base coat is cut out, but will only be temporarily assembled and then taken apart to applique. Got a new bobbin case (used the one I bought for Carol actually, but I'll get her another), which seems to have fixed my thread tension issues. So far. Also cleaned and reassembled my tension discs, hopefully this will help.
I've also been watching Babylon 5 while I work on Kagetoki the past couple of days.
Watching it all come together is amazing. And I'm in the third episode of the FIRST
season. Watching Londo slowly lose things that are important to him (or have them threatened). Watching G'Kar be the whipping post for so much of the action, because he is still so violent and angry.
Ivanova's stiffness and aloofness are something I had forgotten. Talya is what starts to soften her. And the loss of her father (ep 3).

Every time they speak I am reminded. And it makes me want to cry for the pure fate of it all. He saves her. She educates him. Slowly, so slowly... so that he can be the one he must be in the end.
