lugia222: I actually like FFVII quite a lot. I like Cloud and most of the cast well enough. I adore the turks and Zack and Aerith. But I loved FFVIII first and it has a special place in my heart. I highly enjoy the gameplay of both. I mostly make the anti-7 argument for the sake of irritating people who are easily irritated, and in this case I made it for the sake of "amusing posturing" as Kat put it. Anyway. Yeah. Thanks for playing. ^_^
Kagetoki:
Has applique pieces for the lower left front panel. That sounds so much less impressive than it felt. I added a branch and redrew my added branch and flower (they weren't in my original sketches) based on an actual magnolia photo. I love that looking at the way real blossoms open and looking at the applique, I can see the link. It makes me happy.
Should I ever want for inspiration again, there's a beautiful pile of photos of kobushi (magnolia) in blossom here. They're made of pretty.
Jess picked up a belt that will work for him tonight. Now we just need a way to attach large metal studs/rivets of some sort.
We also have a plan for dogtags, which will probably put those at the first finished costume piece.

We watched a lot of shiny today. Rikkai Second and Countdown and AnS and GRA with Nikki (Still more of that to be seen later). And then later, the Rokkaku backstage and the San-dai Supporter's DVD. I cried. I blame lateness and slight intoxication, ok?
Also... new car. I... don't know what to think. I'm surprised my mother didn't explode. And I cried driving Hokuto home tonight. I'm sure it will be fine, it's just... beyond me on a lot of levels.
