How did I MISS that?
Jan. 19th, 2009 09:37 pmOn Sept 29th 2008. The day after my birthday, and after a breakup that lasted exactly three years, Do As Infinity RE-FORMED as a band.
I am so excited. I'm bouncing all over the place. I'm in love all over again, like I was that first year after the summer of 2001.
There's two DVDs coming out on the 18th of February and a tour in April. I'm desperately hoping that they'll get invited to a summer convention this year in the US, but I know it's not likely. They've been here before, but only the once... then again, it's Avex's 20th anniversary... maybe they'll feel very generous.
Just... I'm so excited. And I'm re-watching PVs and life performances. "Oasis" almost makes me cry, it's so nostalgic.
Anyway. Anyway. I missed it for almost four months before I found out... which I suppose makes me a bad fan. But I did find out, so that's something, right?
So, Maya spent most of the day as a cranky Maya, but is now a very happy Maya. Except for the fact that I have to be at work for truck at 6 tomorrow morning. Ah well... life is life.
In an unrelated note this video is made of utter crazy. If you ever wanted to know how much obscure crap in japanese pop culture you recognize... this might be worth watching. Or it might make you crazy. I'm not sure which it did for me. >.>
