Fourty-one Hours

setraSweet gods. I am so tired. I was with the babies from 6 PM friday until 11 AM this morning with basically no break or help. And Mira refused to sleep last night. And then I fell asleep again... I didn't mean to. I wanted to go down and talk to Brad and Nate and Craig... but I fell asleep. And slept much longer than I should have. I ignored the baies in the morning until almost 8... Aaron wanted to be awake at 6:15.
Ah well... Christian music is very uplifting. Ivana has been listening to it a lot around the house. I'm wondering if I should invite her when I go to Navs with Kat... with Kat's permission of course. I get along with her much better than I did with Jum. Ivana's much more like me, a bit geeky but trying to be friendly. We like similar music and she thinks that studying languages is cool. Jum was way too cool for me, she wanted to be out doing her stuff.
I love sundays on KUNC. There are few things that have been constant since my barely-remembered early childhood. Prairie Home Companion is one of those things. Garrison Keillor's voice is so comforting. One of the guests today is a gospel singer named Jearlyn Steele. *blink* So close to Jeralyn... only not... Add to that Car Talk, and my new favorites, Thistle and Shamrock and This American Life... sundays are just a nice relase.
Being home and away from the babies is rather nice too. Oh yes.
I owe everyone thanks and appologies from yesterday. Thanks because everyone stuck around and listened to my bitching and Craig made wonderful food. Nate's parents brought me cake.... and then this morning I realized that my calendar is wrong and today is the 28th... not yesterday. Meh. Whetever.
I don't have to go back to babies until 9! Hopefully they'll be asleep by then... *sigh*
I'm gonna go argue with my PDA about getting an LJ client now. And then I get to see Arella later. ^_^
