Pre-Con Warning

setraA little explanation of how I act at cons, and what I try to get out of them. Because I feel that this might be a neccessary warning for some non-con-experienced people...
When I go to a con, I want to escape. I want to do what I want, when I want. Buy cool stuff, watch shows, go to panels, sing, dance. In all this, I am deeply and fully selfish.
That is not to say that I will ignore commitments, I will not. The X group, my Vid3 shift, I came to these myself.
What I do not want to do, and will not, is compromise my experience for others. I'm posting this because I dreamed about it last night, and I'm remembering one friendship that was nearly ruined because someone did not understand this.
If you are going to NDK just to hang out with me (which I hope no one is)... don't. I'll be here and there, in and out. I'll hang out with people, sure, but I'll also take time to enjoy the con on my own.
Particularly I advice not bothering me while I'm dancing. Just a note.
That's my advice. Probably very unclear and utterly random. Yep. Bed now.
