It's been a long couple of days.

Monday after work I went over to Nick's and met the mythical "Tim and Dion". We played "Pit" and "Apples to Apples". After that Craig and I went to my house and made chocolate chip cookies. Mom and I made tuna noodle cassarole too. And my depresion was successfully staved off. Hooray!
I made Craig watch Spiral and a random episode of Gluhen and episode one of "Piano". He seemed moderately amused by them. He successfully called Ayumu's seiyuu without even knowing it.
Craig: "He's like Kamui only not."
Maya: *blink* "Acctually, he IS Kamui."
At some point Nate and Brad arrived and eventually I fell asleep watching Power Puff Girls. Then Craig went home and I dragged myself upstairs. I'm remembering less and less of my evenings... but I think I was pretty awake after my little movie-nap, so I read fic stuffs until much later.

Still no word from Chris... I guess I don't get to see him before he goes back to school. And here I thought he would want to have his Seishirou coat for school. Oh well.

I woke up at 10:30, read... *ponders* "The Kid's Dangerous", I think... and eventually wandered down to get coffee. I called Diana and neither of us remembered which day we'd agreed to meet, but decided that now was a good time (about 11 AM) We hung out, sewed, watched Utena and talked. I miss her, I really do. When I finnaly left Diana's, I went by campus to sell my books and buy some more. I got $20 for four textbooks. They didn't take matrices because there's a new edition. I'm gonna burn it. I got an add slip and searched once more in vain for Beeken-sensei.
Home again, I watched Spiral 5. Then started sewing. I got Subaru's sleeves together, but not attached. Helped mom with a rushed dinner cooking. Then she took off to work, leving me with burning chicken. It was fun. Rob and I ate and then headed over to his school for... whatever it is when all the parents and kids congregate at school the day before classes start. He ran around and talked to his friends. I talked to the couple of parents that recognized me. Then we went home. I started Spiral 6, but started sewing again. I quickly realized that I could probably leave the coat for Kat, since she knows how to do it. Plus there's this other costume... and the pattern for it exists mostly in my head.
Yes, you heard it here... I worked on Nataku. It acctually looks really good, except that I interfaced the wrong side of the collar, but meh. I need more cord... mom and I can't find the ten yards or string that we bought.

Pet Peeve: People who claim to be able to sew, yet obviously cannot.
Sewing long straight seams is not too terribly difficult. Keeping the fabric lined up and the seam allowance consistant is a bit more difficult. I understand that. But when you say that you can sew - insist so extremely verbally and publically - I assume that these tasks are not beyond you. It has since become apparent that they were and I'm left to pick up the pieces. Oh well.

So... that's a long bit of rant. Yay.

So now I'm off to swoon over Eyes and Kyousuke again. Or maybe figure out why the heck Gluehen hurts like it does... Aya/Ken is NOT a favored pairing of mine... silly Koyasu.
Hope school goes well for all that start tommorow and Thorin, who started today. ^_^
