Ok, so after the first fifteen minutes. That's all I could bring myself to type. Feel lucky you're getting sentences now.

I am madly madly in love with each and every one of these characters. Moriarty is amazing, and I am so so scared of how this will come out.
Sherlock and John, well... how can I not love them. They're brilliant.

Moriarty's opening number was magnificent.

And Sherlock does know how to make tea. Astounding. Though only for dear Jim, I suppose.
"And that's the problem. The final problem."
What I love about Moriarty is that he's not The Master. He's not insane, he's just so so so very clever.

I'm glad the time skips are happening, because fic can happen there. Which sounds terrible.

Also, John in the Diogenes Club and making noise. Gah! I love that they don't bother explaining it really... but I got it last episode, so I was there already.

God, Sherlock is so brilliant. And now Carol's told me to watch Molly, but but....
And Molly knows that she doesn't count, that she's different from John. What remains to be seen is why is Sherlock sad. Because he failed? Because he knows he's going to die? Because he know's everything with Moriarty will be over soon? And what the hell does IOU mean?

And Donovan, sweet Sally Donovan, trying to be right. And causing so much more trouble. Fuck.

God damn, Moriarty. He's good. John and Sherlock, so close and yet so so far.

John punching the chief superintendant literally made me cry. Fuck. It is. It's the god damned Ten Gunmen plot. Only not. What the fuck. Jesus fuck no, what?? How can Moriarty possibly manage all that?
And Sherlock, Sherlock has to go to Molly, because he can't go to John. Because there's all that doubt in John's mind too. He's not falling....

FUCK. MYCROFT FUCKING HOLMES IS TO BLAME FOR THIS???? No way. No god-damned way. Christ. This. This breaks my heart. Because /this/ I could never have forseen.

God, this is... this... breaks my heart. Because he does care. About those couple of people. Those trusted few.

And oh shit. Moriarty dead. Really? And the killers all in place. And how, fucking how can they do this? Don't believe him John, you can't. You CAN'T. JOHN.

Oh fuck. Sherlock. Sherlock NO. WHAT?

John. God John.

And of course he isn't, the absolute bloody bastard. And still in London to boot.

Ok, so theories. There must be theories. Body from the morgue, dressed to look like him, and pushed by Molly? Call from inside Bart's somewhere maybe. Carol says there's a theory that Jim had a Sherlock mask that he wore to scare the kids and that they put on a corpse to fool John. As long as Molly was doing the autopsy, there's no problem there as long as she was in on Sherlock's plan.

Watching the scene again though, Sherlock is actively flailing as he falls.. which rules out corpse. At least in the fall. The corpse's face does look really odd, but it might just be the angle, or it may have been switched somehow while John was unconcious. Argh!

It has just occured to me that despite Moriarty mentioning "The Final Problem" multiple times, the episode wasn't titled that. It was called "The Reichenbach Falls". As they discussed on the roof, Moriartiy's pseudonym Rich Brook would be Reichenbach in German... so if the title of the episode was a 'how he did it' clue Reichenbach literally fell, then that's a strong pointer to the 'used Moriarty's body to throw off the roof' theory.

Anyway. We shall see.

Also, I need to say how thrilled I am that everyone in my house, and my stepmother in Colorado all love this show. Seriously, we have so little in common any more. Now I think I need to go listen to the Paradox Suite again. Or possibly some of the original stories now that I have a full set of the audio books instead of the lame ones I've been fighting with for months.

ETA: This made me giggle like mad. I love this canon more than anything sometimes.

ETA2: Several other things have come to me through [personal profile] revolutionaryjo, who is continually a lovely lovely person, and shares so many of my fannish interests and opinions. Included in that is this marvelous post about Reichenbach and Sherlock's character development... and how it call seems to bring the canon closer to the Paradox universe.
