setraI've just finished "Traitor's Moon" and for the moment have no desire to sleep.
I spent most of last night working on my new bodice for RenFaire. I'm going with green and gold again - more Jeralyn's style, since she shares my coloring more closely than Zia and neither Ana nor Setra really fit into the style I'm aiming for.
Of course... the more I think about it, the more I want a set of Skalan garb. The first thing to spring to mind of course is armor or dress uniform of the Queen's Horse. After that I tend to fantasize about seeing if I could bind myself into male garb (particularly that russet coat of Alec's)... though I think that will be a fantasy for the mythical time.
I'm also tempted to go look up a gown or two that was described on Klia, since I get the feeling she shared my taste in clothing and ornamentation.
And don't even get me started on the 'faie. Doubtless it would be lovely and comfortable... though how I'd find and learn how to wrap a proper sengai (probably Bokthersan), I have /no/ idea.
I will have a red and black set of garb for Setra someday of course, and perhaps I'll even dye my hair dark again for her. And Anaia demands that I should have proper 'nightrunning gear'. It would be useless at Faire, seeing as there's no excuse for running about in broad daylight looking ready to do some housebreaking. And I don't larp ...ever, and the set would be no use for Vampire anyway. I /could/ go for a pirate-ish theme for her, I suppose. might even be fun. suede and leather and things... hmmm...
Anyhow, I /should/ try to sleep now, and not stay up in hopes of sleeping at a descent hour before truck tuesday. I have errands to run tomorrow anyway... so should try to get up early-ish.
