Last night, I downloaded some bits (working on more) of a recent Arashi concert. I... like them.
I figured out what my issue is though.
See, in Japan, to afford fandom, you have to keep your scope narrow. Being into both NeoRoma and TeniPuri my scope of fandoms is already too wide, especially when TeniMyu is lumped in with the latter.
So while I may like Arashi, and may even spaz once in a while over their more leopard-printed or sparkly costumes... they will not likely become 'my boys' nor will I be rushing off to join the fanclub or anything. (I did find birthdays - they are: Aiba-Capricorn, Jun-Virgo, Nino-Gemini, Ohno-Sagittarius, Sakurai-Aquarius)
Bonus: They're all born in 1980-83. I'm not a bad person for ust-ing over them. \^-^/
(KAT-TUN is a little younger(83-86). But still not bad. Same record label. And those band members are a libra, a sag, a scorpio, a virgo, a cancer and a pisces)
