So there was work. And now I'm back. And now there will be more DD-Boys rantage. So there.
I will rant about work and the goodness and the badness at another time, or maybe at the end of this, but at the moment, I desire pretty.

4-In which Setomaru arrives with nothing more than a note from Yanagi that reads 'Koitsu wa Yoroshiku', Araki and Zukki are nuts, and Yuuichi is realistic. That's the first 3 minutes. And then Zukki will enter an eating contest... scratch that. They'll all enter seperate eating contests... And Yuichi's started at a maid cafe in Akihabara.
Anyway, long story short, Zukki did freaking awesome, but not quite enough to win actual money. He's still awesome.
5-Yuichi. Who has to join in with the dancers who practice in front of the shiny show-windows, and without talking get 100 of them to high-five him. ^^ At least Wada stalked him to keep him company.
Watching him dance, and the locations is really nostaligic. And really, the moral, which I think for him was about learning to reach out to people, was well conveyed.

And so... back on to the rest of the series.
19 opens up with them all complaining about Igarashi-taicho.... and he has to prove that he's a true hero. By which they mean work in a daycare. OMG the tiny adorable Japanese children. And he's really good with them. I can see where a lot of the oteher boys would have never made it. And I know how hard even just a couple of children can be for so long. Sugokatta yo, Igarashi-kun. And the end, with the little boy was freaking awesome. More points for Yuuyan and Minakawa for the assistance and playing back-up in bunny suits. It's all about what makes a hero, which is an awesome theme.
20, Shirota and Kaji are... um... special. And Shirota's new plan is to marry a rich person to get the rest of the money. So of course, to meet a rich girl, the best way would be to go to a wedding reception.... to which you need an invitation. Only the prducers have this thing.... where a girl wrote to them to ask if Shirota would sing at her wedding. So there's the invitation...
So the goal of the episode is this: Shirota writes and composes a song for the couple that's getting married. ...and watching him get to know them and ganbaru in making the right song... is awesome. And... yeah. Best episode yet. The song is beautiful. Shirota is wonderful. That is all.
21, I love that Araki is in like... all the episodes. Kaji is growing up... or something...
Wow... so Yanagi has been off helping to raise race horses all this time... and wow. Awesome things. Right on into 22, and probably 23. The others are to gather money in order - I think - to buy one of the horses Yanagi is racing. Or maybe to bet on it. Something involving that they have to gather as much money as they can. I think a bet.
Yanagi is, as always, inspiring to me. And this whole arc is for him. As much as the rest of the show was good for the others... this arc is Yanagi. And everything he is and can be.
The over-20-gumi are working in their own ways. The under-20-gumi climbed the steps at a jinja a hundred times. All but Yuuya... who is somewhere else...
23... Wow. Just wow. Sugoi. And now for dramatic Yuuya and Yanagi stuff. And piles of boys in a confined space. Yanagi stole Tokyo Babylon!Hokuto's hairstyle. Araki is just hot. And Yuuyan. And Wada.... Wada~ Ok, so that wasn't much of an episode summary but DUDE!

I want to go to the D-Boys live now. So bad. But this hopefully also means that they'll release a dvd.
Anyway... mm... yeah. The PS2 froze a while back and [profile] ladyofthegate gave up dating Tsukimori in favor of Sanada. So I'm off to be amused by Rikkai.
Ja ne~!
