setraMy world is filled with Keigo love.
After work I got to settle in and finally watch The Imperial Match: Hyoutei Gakuen.ladyofthegate watched with me, and seemed pleased with it on the whole - which makes me very happy. We share many of our opinions on the new cast.
I'll have more notes later, I'm sure.
Araki has taken Inui and made him his own. I approve.
Aiba is a wonderful Fuji until he talks... then he makes me sad.
Suzuki/Oishi needs voice lessons. Though he's an ok Oishi other than that. Golden Pair's ten-minute fight was amusing.
Choutarou's hair looks fluffy. Though his cute moments with Shishido did not go unnoticed.
Shiozawa (and the other rivals) are teh awesome. And adorable to boot.
Shirota is TALL. Too freaking tall. Not everyone elses fault for not matching ot his height ratio...
Aw... and now I forget the other stuff I wanted to rant about.
Now I'm listening to Kazuki's Best Actor album.
Having seen the musical, I'm glad to have the instumentals for the various matches. They're good. His solo versions of the various songs are nice. I enjoy his voice, though I do think I'm still more a fan of Shirota as a soloist. ^_^ As for the new songs... "Higher" is freaking awesome, and "Solitaire" is a gorgeous slower song. And then there's "Flaming Ice". Which just /feels/ like a TeniPuri song. It's fast and upbeat, the rhythm almost into the realm of ska... or maybe something Nao-kun-esque. I can't describe. But it makes me happy to own the album. I hope Shirota's new songs were as good (other than "Tsuchitsukusu Kanata" which I already know that I adore.
