setraWell, it's over. My application to the JET Programme has been sent. It's in the FedEX truck, I saw it drive away. And by 3 pm tomorrow it will be in DC. There's nothing more I can do. It's all there. Application, letters, essay, transcripts and all.
I made the moronic mistake of not double checking my first page... and found out when it printed that I put in ALT rather than CIR. But I changed it on the hard copies and put a note in the package.
It's over now either way.
So home I came and now I'm working on touching up my paper for tomorrow while I get to watch "Be With You" (which is actually 「今、会いに行きます」, for anyone wondering what I keep babbling about - "Be With You" was the translation that they gave on the plane coming home last march).
I /adore/ this movie. The entire concept is awesome, and now that I'm seeing the lead in (I missed the beginning on the plane), I love it even more. I was sad to find that there are no subs in english on this dvd, because it makes showing it to my mom or others difficult... but atleast my 日本語を勉強しているfriends can see it.
Later tonight we're going to go see RENT with Nick and a massive but unknown -tachi. I invited Thorin too, since he's always on about hanging out with people. Don't know if he'll want to come since he wasn't impressed by the reviews, but hey...
Anywho, back to my paper now. I accomplished nothing over break, so now it's time to haul ass to finish out the semester. Mmyep. Anyone have a copy of 'Same Bed, Different Dreams' that I can borrow? Mine is just /not/ showing up...
What was that about me staying on top of things this time? Heheh... ah well.
Current Bishounen: Grown-up Yuuji (from the movie ^^)
Current Bishoujo/Heroines: Dianna (<3) and Michelle ('cause I got to see two managers outside of work today ^^)
