A wonderful equation, yes... as an album?
Thanks to
sumeragiskank (RWT's Atobe), I got to download the new Inui solo album.
Crack, ladies and gentlemen, purest unadulterated crack.
Between the heavily industrial almost techno feel of many of the tracks and the fact that Inui doesn't actuall sing until track 5 out of the 9 tracks on the album (two of those first five, he doesn't even talk at all), it certainly stands out among the other TeniPuri solo albums.
The first song with Inui's voice, is a rhythmic recitation of the decimal places of pi... for 7 minutes. This is followed by "Running Boy" (you can guess what I think the song is about). I couldn't actually follow the lyrics, but I think many of them are in english. He also spends a lot of time... um... breathing heavily in this song.
Kaidoh /is/ on the album, for those who were worried. In track 4, he and Ryoma have an abortive attempt to stop Inui from giving more juices to the club... set to music. The song is "JUICE".
The songs finally begin with the slow, but still sythensizer-heavy "Michi". His singing voice is lovely.
Track 6 is a slightly more upbeat duet with Renji. ^_^ Love.
"Saraba" is another almost entirely instrumental track... with Inui only inserting a few words over the upbeat electric beeps of the song. ^_^
"Kaze no Yukue" is another slow ballad-like song. Bringing him up to a grand total of two actual new solo songs.
The 9th and final track is a shorter reprise of "Pi". Really, the vocal disc that came with first pressing must have been neat... or explained a lot. XD
(I meant to write a review for each of the solo albums, I own... this is the first one I've really done. XD)
