List your current six favorite songs, then pick six other people that have to do the same.

Saying "favorite" is really hard, there are songs I'm currently obsessed with, and then ones I always have and always will love...

1. "Denkou Sekka no Koi" (Takahashi Naozumi as Hinoe) [Current Obsession -> Long Term] What can be said about the image song for the sexiest character in HaruToki3? Nao-kun's voice is wonderful, the feeling and melody of the song are just as perfect for the character as the lyrics themselves. Love.
2. "No Surrender" (Weiss) [Long-Term] This song was the anthem for some of my hardest times at Gaidai, and I've recently been reminded just how much I love it. It's got a wonderful rhythm and MikiShin rapping to complement a great melody line and one of my favorite Weiss songs.
3. "Pon de Replay" (Rihanna) [Current obsession] The song is awesome and a good dance tune, plus the girl is from Barbados, and I love the rhytms and accent in her music. ^_^
4. "Hikari no Saki" (Okiayu Ryoutarou and Minagawa Junko as Tazuka Kunimitsu and Echizen Ryoma - from "With") [Long-Term] This song said a lot of things for me with words I couldn't find to phrase them at the time. It's a beautiful airy song that is perfect for the connection between the characters in addition to fitting the end of the show very well. ^_^
5. "MY LIFE" (Takahashi Naozumi) How could this song not make it on to the list? Just thinking about it makes me cry. I associate the song with the summer after Gaidai, and with a sentiment that I feel all too often in the lower swings of culture shock back here in the states.
6. "Semero, Tsuyoku Nare" (Shirota Yuu as Tezuka Kunimitsu - Musical Tennis no Oujisama in Winter 2004-2005 ~Side Yamabuki featuring St. Rudolph Gakuin~) [Current obsession]
And if the title wasn't long enough for you... I don't know why I'm obsessed with this song right now. It's one of the best examples of why I will have to develop an interest in the new TeniMyu cast, I guess.
