Tenipuri and stuff... <3

The kittes kill me. With cute and fluffy and purring... but dead. XD
Massive CONGRATS are in order for Tim (timinjapan) and Jenn (muscatlove) who have both been placed for JET... in the Kansai region! <3
But the main point of this post is to rant on my favorite TeniPuri Characters so that Jen (jenshinobi) can draw them for me, so here it goes:
Notes on the schools:
Hyoutei is an extremely wealthy private school with a tennis team of over 200 playres. The regulars (main team) are all very close, but also hightly competetive. If you lose one match in competition, you are dropped from the main team. Only one player has ever made it back on after being dropped. The players on Hyoutei are all extremely talented but are also full of themselves as only spoiled rich boys can be. ^__^
Rikkai is like Hyoutei with added boot camp. They are the best tennis team in the Kantou region and have been for 16 years. Every player on the team is expected to be able to excel at both singles and doubles play, and losses are not tolerated even outside of official matches. The strict enviroment breeds driven focused players. They are confident, but not flamboyantly so.
First off: Oshitari Yuushi (Hyoutei)

My Notes on Personality, etc.:
Yuushi is Hyoutei's "genius" player. He's damn good, and he knows it. He's from the Kansai region with the accent and laid-back sext attitude to go with it. HE generally plays doubles in tennis with his partner Gakuto. He provides the back-up and stability that lets Gakuto use his famed acrobatic play. ^_^
Yuushi is a bit of a trickster. His first image song was "Crafty Boy" ^_^. Also, it has been revealed that he only wears his glasses for effect, and the lenses are fake. XD He's the closest thing that Hyoutei has to a vice captain and as such is maybe the only person able to really talk to Atobe much.
Yuushi basically oozes sex, in my opinion. He has a wonderfully deep voice and is extremely flitatious almost all the time. ^_^

My Notes on Personality, etc.:
Keigo, Keigo, Keigo. The world revolves around this boy. No, I'm not kidding. In addition to being Hyoutei's student council president, he's the captain of the 200+ member tennis team and one of the 3 best single Jr. High players in the Tokyo region. He is fluent in english, german, japanese and quite probably greek. Keigo is fully confident in his skills and deserves to be. He defeated Seigaku's Catptain Tezuka and put him in the hospital in the process. He is ruthless and determined with a side of showmanship that shows why he is the idol of his entire school.
If you ask me, he's wonderfully sexy with a drama queen side nearly the size of his ego. ^_^

My RWT favorites: Yagyuu Hiroshi and Niou Masaharu

My Notes on Personality, etc.:
Niou (the silver-haired one) is... well, damn near my favorite character in all of the manga. Mostly because of how Jenn plays him over at RWT. He's a sneaky badass, and he knows it. Jiroh, from Hyoutei started describing him as Mr. Sneaky-Hot, and that may be the best description that I've heard. ^_^ He likes to play tricks on people both on and off the court. He's wickedly clever and I think the whole him and Yagyuu switching places was pretty much his idea. ^_^ His catch phrase when he's tricked someone is "puri".
Yagyuu (the glasses one with brown or purple hair) is Niou's compliment. He's the quiet one, but ultimately more driven to win. You can look at it like this: Niou is the one with the plan that gets them into trouble, but it's Yagyuu who can pull it off and get them out of it without getting caught. ^_^ The two of them are partners in all things, and have perfected a tennis play style in which they can desguise themselves as one another to confuse the opponent.

Corina's Favorites: Kaidoh Kaoru 1 - 2 and Inui Sadaharu 1 - 2
(They are both players on Seigaku. Inui (glasses) gathers "data" to understand other players stregths and weaknesses and Kaidoh is anti-social but extremely devoted to training. Kaidoh (bandana boy) also has a snake-ish tendency to hiss when annoyed and a penchant for cats. ^_^ Inui is the one who makes evil "vegetable" juices which are feared even by his own team.)
Jessica's Favorites: Fuji Syuusuke 1 - 2 - musical and Kikumaru Eiji 1 - 2 - Musical
Eiji is an actobatic player with cat-like tendencies to end words in -nya. Fuji is his best friend. Both are seniors at Seigaku. Eiji is half of the national-ranked "Golden Pair" and Fuji is one of the most terrifying and talented players on the team. Fuji possesses the "triple counters" and is labeled as a genius (tensai like Oshitari only... better). Fuji also has a possessive/protective streak which when combines with his sadism tends to leave opponents who hurt his family (especially his younger brother, Yuuta) or friends emotionally and physically broken. ^_^ Fuji also keeps his eyes closed most of the time.
