Today was good. I got up in the morning to give mom the key to her van and she took it to get the back-mirror fixed... but ended up leaving it with me again. ^_^ Yay for a reliable car!
I then got to babysit the twins from 4:30 'til bedtime. In addition to playing trains and lifting Ari up a lot, I got to read the rest of "FullMoon ni Sasayaite 1" (english version). I love David and Marlo. So much. <3 The twins went to sleep at 8:30 or so... I was really suprised. They'll probably be up crazy early in the morning, and it almost makes me feel bad for not volunteering to be in until 9 tomorrow morning.... almost. I read bits of the next (for me) RWt chat, and Fake 5. Turns out that I actually understood almost all of Fake 5 when I read it in Japanese and couldn't take the angst again. >_< Not so sure I'll be finishing that one. Might skip to 6 and 7 or stick to Japanese.
I got home after playing Settlers of Catan with Carol and Rob, and got to listen to part of the first Genbu Kaiden Drama CD (Fluffy happy with awesome voice actors... and masses of angsty FY goodness) and then watch "Love Letter" with Kat. It is a simply beautiful movie. I loved the plot and well... everything. It is a wonderful movie and we must show it to people. ^___^
Half the story took place in Kobe (Natsukashii~) and one of the characters there led me to an important realization: Kansai-ben is sexy. Period. The boy wasn't even that pretty in retrospect and I was pawing at the screen to get to him. ^_^ Played by Toyokawa Etsushi (when all I knew was the -shi in his first name I was theorizing that it could be Yuushi... but I lose). Turns out he was in "Moon Child" too (we think he was the brother, but we're not sure).
Additionally, speaking of Kansai-ben=Yuushi=TeniPuri... I caught up on much of the recent manga this morning. The Oishi/Tezuka match was gorgeous. The intro to Nationals was awesome as well (Hyoutei! Hyoutei!)... and the brief flashes to Rikkai were quite lovely as well. I HATE the Okinawa team (Higa). Even if their megane-chara is pretty, I despise their attitude. And I cannot respect them after what they did to Rokkaku. (Who would have thought I'd get defensive about a team that I often forget about the existence of... wierd huh?) I'm confused that Ryoma appears to be playing S1, but as usual I'm more interested to see the doubles matches. I think I'll be making a giant print-out of the nationals match tree and filling in the lines as match results are announced. (I wanna know how Hyoutei and the other non-seed schools did in the first round!)
Now I'm off to sleep so that I can wake up in... 7 hours or less to get to RiverRock and watch babes for many, many hours. ^_^
Current Bishounen: Toyokawa Etsushi (and I typed Takigawa three times before I got his last name right. >_<)
