Collars of DOOM!

setraCostume update. Yuuto's coat has a collar. But the collar band looks.... interesting. no fault of ours, just that it's a vogue pattern. I will /not/ be recomending collar bands on either of the other coats, since the costumes don't have them (looked it up ^_^). Also, I may be buying an dextra half-yard of fabric to re-cut collars and make them not as evil. (If I get approval from the requisite people.) Also... those wierd back thingies... we didn't need... don't know why I didn't think of that /before/ we cut all the cloth... but whatever, too late now. Just realized that Nick didn't actually end up buying more fabric for subaru that I did for Sei-chan (5 5/8 > 5 1/2), but I think I can still get the gores since we didn't have to re-cut Subaru's facing, and his coat is shorter.
Chris - I found the reciept, after tax you owe me $38.00 (give or take 50 cents) before any extra fabric to fix the collars.
Nick- You know what you bought for Steven's lining? I don't know why I didn't notice it before. *shoots self* Yes, the same stuff that we have for Kakyou's outer kimono... the cloth from hell. This is gonna be interesting. Mom says I can adjust the tension on the machine down and it will sew allright... though even she says it'll be evil. Sei-chan and Subaru will be fine though, since thier lining is nice and satin.
Ok, so right... that's it for costume rant and such. I was gonna post it to the list and then realized everyone that cares will read live journal.
In other news, Ibuprofen helps, but only for about 3 hours.... with the neck throbing doom that it, so I don't know if I'll be at school tommrow morning. Also, I realized recently just how doomed I really am money-wise. Though things might look better after I get paid for the past month (forgetting to turn in a time sheet sucks)
