Happy New Year

新年おめでとうございます。
Already three days late, I know. XD

For days all I've wanted to do is write and send proper 年賀状 (Japanese new year's cards). I didn't get them together this year, but I think I'll try harder for next. Even if it takes some explanation, there's a feeling of 'Thank you for all you did for me last year. I look forward to working with you again this year.' That I just... want to convey to people.
See, even that phrasing is bad.

I posted over at mayachan first. I blame doori_blog for my writing style in Japanese.
English feels awkward this morning.
I went to work at 7:30. Which turned out to be pointless, since I close. >_>;;

懐かしい～

Well, this is a bit nostalgic. I haven't translated in a long time, and I actually wanted to do Yagami's 'Hatsukoi' because of the related line in nympholepsia's SanaYuki fic. But I don't have lyrics. Then this song came on my iPod and I remembered that I've wanted to translate it forever. So here we are.
Translation notes at the bottom, as usual any con-crit is welcome.

Well, the song is pretty short simple, but maybe I haven't totally lost my Japanese after all. This translation was fast, and I'm sure I'll spend the whole day rephrasing it in my head.
I debated cross-posting this to mayachan and/or kazahana_shouka... but for the moment I'll leave it here. (Also, I apparently forgot the password to Kazahana_Shouka. >_<)
