Ramblings

This is why I love ARASHI. Well, ok, so it's not the /best/ video. Those are two of the three songs that really got me when I was watching the Taipei concert though. The longer version of the middle song is really awesome, the album version doesn't /begin/ to compare.

Saw "300" tonight (ignores the chorus of 'osoi!')... and I /liked/ it. Lots, actually. Filled with awesome and pretty and the /cloaks/... and the gore wasn't there for the sake of gore, it was quite artistic and almost pretty at times. Well... not /pretty/... but, you know.

Also, played with a Wii for the first time.
Ok... so I don't hate it. I like tennis. It's fun.

I'm still happy with my PS2 though. And I think I will be for a while.

The bugs in the apartment have driven us to Alley Cat for food and chatting, so I'm going to settle in for a lovely sandwich and my favorite tea in the whole world. Bai-bi~!

Forgot to mention on other thing...

Talked with Val today. It's more-or-less official.
Starting the sunday of Firefly Frenzy, I'll be the MTL at 1679.
That means a pay raise, 45 hours a week, benefits and (eventually) PTO.
It also means that I'm not likely to make it to Pippin (or Japan at all) this year. But it means that if I'm careful, I can actually work myself /out/ of debt and make profitable trips to Japan much more possible.

Time to be a grown up.
I think I just chose Catherine over the Finale.
I can't decide whether or not to be sad about that.
