Does nothing ever change?

What the fuck does he want from me?
He calls because he's back in town, under the pretense of the money he owes me, "this may be your last chance to get it". Long silences on the phone. I say that I don't have a car. He says he does and informs me that his mom is moving out of her house. He shows up at my house... tries to talk to people only really doesn't... sits, sighs. I try to be casually friendly. He follows me downstairs. Says he doesn't have the money and that he needs to go get it... I say that would be good. I sit back and look at him. He is silent, obviously wanting me to read his mind or say something. I don't know what to say, I meet his eyes briefly and glance away. He sighs and stomps upstairs with obviously indignant depression.
What the hell am I supposed to do?

So, Austin is now out getting the money that he owes me... I don't know what to do anymore... he won't talk and I don't have any words left. I'm done. It seems like some people just fall into one pattern and never change, and wonder why people don't understand.
