Damnit. I'll have to rewrite my review now... damn crashing of IE... *twitch*
So, I saw this movie tonight. Japanese. Set in Pre-Meiji (Edo?) Kyoto. Specifically within the ranks of the Shinsengumi. I think Corina atleast and maybe Kat should see this movie. The maybe comes from the fact that the movie is focused on a lot of intrigue involving a very pretty uber-uke boy (think Ranmaru as a very japanese looking samurai), and how everyone around lusts after him. But in that Japanese way, it is subtle and very good. There are a vast number of real life bishonen (one of which happens to be Okita Souji). Plus, the scenery is gorgeous and the music was composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto (his most recent work was RahXephon, but he's done a lot of other stuff too.).
So... there's my awesome movie rant for today... it was called Taboo... I forget the japanese title. It was really pretty.
Sore ja...
Bishonen: Okita Souji (see above)
Bishoujo: Juri (too much Revolutionary Theatre 3000)
