I'll appologize right now for the length of this, but I had to miss the meeting last night and then spent a lot of time at home with my cosume construction assistant (Kat/Englesma-san) working out plans for how to manage this project.

First: after talking a lot with Beecken-sensei and thinking about it myself, I have a revised plan for Lady Macbeth that uses everyones ideas and saves on construction while giving her a lot of costume diversity.
First appearence - Lady of Glamis - while reading Macbeth's letter (Act I Scene V)
A normal blue kimono (this may be made or - if possible - modified from the light blue one we already have)
Second appearence - Lady of Cawdor - (Act I Scene VII, Act II Scene II)
The red-black crane kimono as overlayer
Third Apperence - awakened from sleep - (Act II Scene III)
Yukata (if really necessary. there is also the possibility that she could have gotten dressed before storming down to yell at people)
Fourth Appearence - Queen - (Act III Scene I, IV)
Fifth Appearence - Sick - (Act V Scene I)
Yukata with the light blue/red spots kimono as an over robe (hanging off one shoulder)

This reqires the least modification of existing pieces and the least construction for her while incorperating what everyone wants at some point and giving the character a lot of costume diversity.


Second:
I have a fair amount of experience in managing large sets of costumes from construction to presentation. After looking at all the costumes and what needs to be built, and knowing where everyone is most comfortable working on things, I have broken the costumes up as follows:

Liz's responsibility (13) To be built primarily in the CSU costume shop with what help, resources, materials, people and time are availiable to help there. (materials to be purchased with the costuming budget) - Macbeth - Duncan - Witches 1,2,3 - Banquo - Malcom - Donalbain - Assassins 1,2,3 - Shisha 1,2

Maya's Responsibility (9) To be built at Maya+Kat's place with what resources, time, materials and help can be recruited there. (materials to be purchased with the costuming budget, excepting pieces which certain actors want to keep, for which they must pay all materials costs) - Lady Macbeth - Macduff - Lady Macduff - Macduff's Son - Fleance - Lennox - Ross - Angus - Taicho

I think the break-up is fair since I assume we all have about equal ability, but the shop has more resources (and is staffed, according to Nick-kantoku).
I would request copies of the measurement sheets for all the actors under my responsibility, and contact information if it is availiable. It would also be helpful to have a full list of pieces needed for each character, especially what we have and what we don't (is different from what I have below).

Third:
Bulding Schedule (for Maya and Kat)
We have weeks 8-13 remaining in which to build. Kat and I have developed the following schedule for our portion of the costumes.
The costumes will be completed within the dates listed and should not need to be worked on again unless there is extra time in another week.

If the decision to use black Hakama for thanes holds true, then many of the costumes are easier. A second run for Fabric swatches will be neccessary some time soon.
