setraOk. So I worked for about 6 hours today... and didn't get the papers done... then looked up stuff to fill in the blanks in my Hester paper while watching random stuff on TV with reieien and people. It was finally a bit before 2 AM when the German lessons, the "International Forum" show, the puppet show, and the Morning Musume fluff had more or less destroyed my brain, that we decide to go to Karaoke. I borrowed Cedric's bike and reieien and I rode up to Makino (where the Karaoke/Bowling place is open 'till 4 AM!)... and sang for two hours. Riding was glorious, especially on the way back because the rain had stopped and there were absolutely no cars. We got back to the seminar house right about 4 AM and after a nice couple cups of coffee and a chat about some possible travel plans and translation projects I'm back to the computer to beat these papers into the ground.
*huggles Nao-kun and the "Keep on Dancin'" single* I can stay awake now, right?
Additional Notes:
1) I owe about a million thanks toreieien, as she has been nothing but sweet and generous for the past week or two. It's thanks to her that I have coffee and sugar and happy bishounen running though my system to keep me awake. *hugs*
2) I hopebaranoneko, chaosnyte, and tokyolove are having a great time in Hiroshima. They should be back in 18 hours or so. I felt oddly melancholy when I realized about 11 PM that Kat wouldn't be home today.
Current Bishounen: Squall (somehow, I think he'd understand staying up all night to finish work... if not the procrastinating that led to it. ^_^)
