In other news, Weiß makes everything better. I don't know /how/ I manage to keep forgetting this. ^_^ (See Current Music) I spent all day yesterday listening to HaruToki... on endless repeat. I /will/ learn Yorihisa's half of that duet. I just need someone to learn Tenma's half. And an excuse/opportinity to sing it in Karaoke.
Looks like Karaoke will work out this friday. It'll be afternoon and not evening, in order to give Yoshiki time to get home before he has to go to work. Assuming it's not an inconvenience to anyone else, that just means that it's cheaper and easier to wake up for Sailor Moon the next morning. I just don't know what I'll sing.
I really don't know that many songs. "Hemisphere" and "Under the Moon" are getting overdone... and the only Weiß they have is "Beautiful Alone". I've done "Superdrive" twice already, same goes for "Fukai Mori" and I don't know real words to any other DAI. I could always try "Gift" or "Tune the Rainbow" of course... but my range really doesn't match Maaya Sakamoto's... and I'm not good enough to drop them an octave or into low harmony without parctice. They do have 「白夜～True Light～」, but I have a really bad habit of matching to Kat (who sings up an octave) rather than to the original song, so it's wierd.
I've been having wierd dreams lately... but I can't really explain them.
About a week ago (Friday night), I was having a serious crisis of... what would be faith in a "real" religion, I suppose. Then the next day there was the sunset, and the wind, and the snowy egrets in the river. It astounds me how these questions manage to adress themselves.
Anthropology is better if I take copious notes, and religion is better if I don't take any. Spoken and Written Japanese both seem to be going well, though we have no way to check our grades... and I can't tell how many points we've accumulated or how they're weighted. I successfully talked to Shikaura-sensei in the practice session today, and hopefully didn't make too much of a fool of myself.
Yep. And that's my life. I'm going to try to update more inmayachan and less here. It'll make me practice Japanese.
And now I have to walk back to Seminar House to make dinner for me and Kat before RELOAD.
Current Bishounen: Yohji... or Irvine... I can't pick.
