Ooh... long day.

setraSee, for a day in which I didn't do much, I'm awfully wiped out.
I have this theory that I've had a fever for about 24 hours now. I'm not sure, but I think I packed a thermometer, so I'm gonna check tonight. It would explain the burning in my cheeks and the fact that I was freezing this afternoon when it was actually rather nice out.
I slept till about 11:30 today, and then cleaned out my closet so that I could put my futon away. Once stuff was mostly organized, we went out to the Ramen shop for lunch. I love that place, it's wonderful food for 200-500 yen. It /is/ all the way across campus, but it was a nice walk and we stopped by the CIE on the way. It turns out that my bank card is in, so I can go pick that up tomorrow.
We returned to our room and I tried to study, but ended up writing a nice long journal entry about how much I like Weiss, and how easily distracted I am (in Japanese) rather than the self-introduction I should have been writing. After 3+ hours of that, we headed out to the grocery store to buy something for dinner. I spent more on shampoo and conditioner than I had on food all day, but at least now I 'dun have to worry about it anymore. We got some tempura which we heated up and had over rice with tea. Except the giant slices of pickled ginger (tempura)... which were too wierd for either of us to eat much of. Still, it was good and then we headed down to the computers before they got busy, and here I am.
Now I'm gonna head back upstairs, check my temp and try again to write my introdution speech. I wish I had anything to say about myself that I could phrase in complex sentences. Hopefully this time I'll atleast get something written instead of staring at song lyrics and wanting to translate them.
Still, I feel remarkably ok... or will until I can't sleep again tonight. I'm having that can't turn my brain off problem again.
