setraI'm in giggly fangirl mode. Sorta. It might be the sleep dep and the happy adrenaline from swimming.
My winamp is broken. The top part of the skin won't show up... and I have no right-click button.... so I can't fix it.
Anyway. Today has been odd. I woke up much the same way I way I fell asleep: watching Craig play FF8. As far as I know, he stayed up the entire night playing. And stayed here until 3 PM or so. Meaning about 19 hours of non-stop FF8.
Interspersed with that I read Chapter 2 of Blood & Sand. Reading fic for and playing FF8 simutaneously will do interesting things to your head. Of course, the fact that Squall and Rinoa were named Gunter and Yutta didn't really help.
Of course, Craig likes Zell and hates Irvine with a passion. Moreover, he kept making comments of a very Squall/Zell nature that just hurt my head. I'm not letting myself read "Memories" (Scribblemoose's massive post-game fic for FFVIII), until I've finished the game. I read all of SSoG, but I think there're still a lot of suprises in the plot that I don't want to risk spoiling.
In other news, Weiss is still good and addictive. Though it's links to FFVIII in my head are begining to worry me.
Well, that was long and pointless. Now I'm off to be useful. And then Criag's coming over to play /more/ FF8. I know, I'm scared too. ^_^
Someday I'll get aroung to ranting about how certain seiyuu don't really exist in databases... But suffice it to say that Platina (Apocripha/0) and Lamington (Disgaea) have the same voice, so I win there.
Current Bishounen: Yohji (because he's in my pocket! No really, he is! Ok, so it's just a lami card...)
