setraI just watched up through 18 of Spiral. And now I have to stop because Robert need the computer for school work. The goodness of this show amazes me... and there really is nothing sexier than men who can use logic and strategy to overcome life-threatening situations. Except Kanone, though he strikes me as the logicy type too... ^_^
I took copious costume notes for everyone except Keisuke, Rio and Ryoko. I need to discuss costume choices for them.
Eyes: it's pretty much one of two outfits, one which requires a /lot/ of leather and buckles and the other which requires making another trenchcoat and custom pants.
Kanone: I've only seen one outfit for him so far, so I think that'll be the one.
Hiyono: I'm assuming the school uniform for her, unless we want to work out the dress she wears in 14, which could be cute.
Ayumu: Pretty much has to be the school uniform, unless we want his costume to be totally store-bought. (Need to confirm invite Craig for the role, and show him more of the show as neccesary.)
Madoka: I know which costume I want to do (the closing credits and episode 18 one) and I think I know what wig I'll be buying.
Kousuke: There are a variety of choices here, the green jacket being most recognizable, though most difficult. (Need input from Thorin on acceptable costs, and what he wants to do)
Rio: Again, a lot of options, of varying levels of preacticality and difficulty. (Need input from Nikki on costs, time, etc.)
Ryoko: Most recognizable would be school uniform (which may already be being designed for Kat), or track outfit. Others possible as well. (Need input from Robin on costs, comfort with short skirts/shorts, etc.)
Note for Everyone: Please keep your eyes open for jewelry and accessories for your (or others) costumes. Especially earcuffs (we need three for Ayumu and two for Kousuke), and glasses for Kousuke (they're rectangular, top-half wire frame with yellow lenses).
Also, if anyone has jewelry makeing experience, or the opportunity to take any jewelry classes in the next semester, or over the summmer, please do! We'll need your help!
That's only.... *counts* Damn, 8 costumes! *grumbles* I swore I wasn't doing this again! But, for Eyes-kun. Hn... at least it isn't 18. And I only have one other costume to work on for myself and most of Madoka can be store-bought or modified.
