Today has been... well... busy.
I accomplished many things. Including getting my papers and photos mailed, getting my plane fare from dad, and sending Beeken-sensei my song translation ideas. I can not believe that I just sent her an email that had lyrics of song I want to translate in it... and I included "Jealousy de Nemurenai" and "Stone Roses"... she is going to kill me. I also finished off my first Kanji nikki and turned in my drafts of poems for CW.
Non-school accomlishments: burned a Weiss CD, and finished watching "Mirage of Blaze" disc one, before I went to watch "Kiki's Delivery Service" in Eddy. It was good, but I need to write a reaction paper in japanese, so feel no great need to rant about it now. "Mirage of Blaze" on the other hand...

"Mirage of Blaze" is really good.
I'm pretty sure the animators are the same ones who did the X tv show. The plot and characters seem influenced by X and Yami no Matsuei, but maintain originality and interest. The subtext is gentle and cute, with moderately strong female characters to moderate the boys (something YnM lacks). The voice cast is great, with Hayami Show and Seki Toshihiko as lead men and Akiko Yajima and Orikasa Ai for female (first arc atleast). The first three episodes are one arc, with the fourth beginging a new story and introducing a lot of new (and seemingly more permanent characters). I see why it gets pulled in with the shounen ai fandom, but it's really not all that bad from what I've seen. And the plot is more than deep enough to let the subtext be and stay entertaining. If people who might want to see it (Kat?) have time before it's due back on Fri at 8, that would be lovely... if not, there's always another day.

On another note, Hitoshi Doi is down! *whine* I wanted to check seiyuu for Disgaea. Anyway...
I downloaded lots of Utada Hikaru music today... I like "Colors", I like it a lot. There is a distinct possibility that I'll be buying a lot of her CD singles in Japan. ^_^
Yeah, I should go to sleep... with my happy new Weiss CD. I really do love "Stone Roses". Weiss, Weiss... what... Oh! I got the official animated music video for "Tokyo Sling"! And /thats/ where the scene with Schu that I was expecting in the OAV came from... Heh... some subtext shouldn't happen on-screen... it makes my brain /way/ too happy. Anyway, that was a nice thing to come home to. ^_^
Wait, wasn't I talking about sleep? *shakes fist at Schu*
Damn you for being distracting anyway...
Schu: *smirk* Oh really? And here I thought you enjoyed it?
Me: /That/ is beside the point.
Right, me, sleep now... hope other peoples lives are doing alright. Oyasumi!

Bishonen: Schu (cause I love him) and Aya (because Koyasu is just wonderful)
Bishojo: Utada Hikaru
