01. What was your first cosplay?
If we're talking anime, then 'Rel and I both dressed as impromptu Pokemon trainers at my second NDK in 1999. Though technically I dressed as Mendoza from Cities of Gold (太陽の子エステバン) when I was like 8 and didn't know what anime was. I've always liked dressing as certain people (IE - Mendoza, Ivanova, The Queen of the Night) more than just random things like 'a ghost' or 'a pirate'. That's just how my brain as always worked.
02. Did someone get you into cosplay? Or on your own?
Pretty much on my own. But my mother's willingness to help me make things in my youth was probably a big influence.
03. What is your favourite cosplay?
Oh gosh. There are different reasons so picking a 'favorite' is really hard. I love Olivie very very much, but I don't fit in the dress anymore and there was some pain involved in wearing the costume as well. I ADORE wearing Akram, because it feels like... like being wrapped in the arms of someone that I love very much. I also tend to be very calm and unflappable while in the full cosutume. And then there's Saku, which is probably the one I'm proudest of (outside of Kagetoki). Of course, there's also my TenniPuri costumes. Which are comfy and fun and just neat. Especially Yuushi.
04. Which is your least favourite?
Mmmm. Arashi is the easy answer. It never fit well or flattered me and has a lot of complex issues involved in it.
05. At conventions, do people compliment you on your cosplays?
Well... this year they really did. Up until now it's mostly only been people who knew me, which isn't quite as surprising, because I have really nice friends.
06. How many have you done?
Ok... I'll probably forget ones. And I'm only going to list stuff I wore at cons.

2. Mishima Reika (least recognized by far)
3. Sumeragi Hokuto - TB Red Version (w/baranoneko's Subaru)
4. Kishuu Arashi (shirt only - I also made Subaru and Sei-chan's trench coats, Kakyou's kimono, Karen's dress, Nataku, Hinoto, and Hokuto all X TV versions)
5. Olivie (later made Mel forstarlit_dragon - both Trois version)
6. Nagareyama Shimon (still needs a wig that doesn't suck)
7. Akram (eventually full version with hat, mask and Fluffy the Demon Pony)
8. Jade (also Platina, Beryl and Carroll from Apocripha/0)
9. Shinomiya and Nakajima (also Kazuki, Keita and parts of Saionji from Gakuen Heaven)
10. Oshitari Yuushi (DL3 Street Clothes Version)
11. Musashibou Benkei (regular Haruka 3 version)
12. Fuji Syuusuke (also Tezuka and Kaidoh's jacket - Seigaku uniforms)
13. Oshitari Yuushi (and Mukahi Gakuto - Hyoutei tennis uniforms)
14. Yagyuu Hiroshi (Rikkai School uniform - mostly bought, but fun.)
15. Kajiwara Saku (also made most sewn parts of Kagetoki forladyofthegate)

08. What female cosplay do you want to do most?
Oooh.... Rosalia. Always Rosalia.
09. What male cosplay do you want to do most?
Masaomi. I'm /obsessed/ right now.
10. What do you prefer to do, make or buy your costumes?
Make. I've made pretty much all my costumes (Arashi and the DL3 and Rikkai ones excepted) since my mother said 'next time, you do it' after Juri. Saku and Kagetoki are my materpieces so far.
11. Your most memorable experience? What makes it so memorable?
-Guardians of Romance
-Higuri-sensei asking for a picture with us and calling us 'suteki'.
-Kiuchi calling me 'Oshitari' in the elevator about 5 times.
-The Japanese girl in the Detour dealer's room that was like 'OMG HARUKA!!'
-NDK this year.
12. Your dream cosplay?
Every costume these days is a dream. Really, my dream is just to look better in my costumes and make them look/behave better on me and whoever else is wearing them.
13. Is there a pattern in your cosplays? If so, what?
Getting rapidly more and more obscure. Lately? NeoRoma. And TenniPuri. .....mmmyep.
14. Your most recent cosplay?
Saku. <3
15. What do you prefer? Cosplaying in a group or on your own?
I never thought about it in the begining, and large groups have often really stressed me out. But it's still a lot more fun to have others around who are hanging out with you. Lately I've only had small groups of two or three. Though our bigger Tennis group last year was awesome on a stick!
16. I tag... um...shinjuku_gal, denimninja, mazokuspaz, miladynamizoro and japanshin... Kat and the Twins already tagged lots of the people who I know that cosplay.
