setra7:33. Arrive at work. Nikki is in parking lot, we are both concerned about Elizabeth not being there.
Round corner, Elizabeth climbs out of freaky van sitting in front of store. All is well.
8:10. Phone rings, is answered by Elizabeth who is on the floor.
Elizabeth: Uh, hey.... there's someone from Internal Audit out front.
Maya: O.O!
The rest of my day. And I do mean the REST of the 10 hours I was at the store were pretty much Audit. Thank goodness Emily was our 9 o'clock and Shawna was on top of things today, because I wasn't any help to anyone outside the office today. I also could /not/ have dealt with Carolyn this morning.
We missed some stupid stuff. And I was kind of sad that she didn't get to see our truck procedure. Some other things, I probably should have nitpicked. But she seemed so frazzled by the end of the day, and she had been nice about some of the early things so i just let it go. I'm still pissed about fabric DUs. I call foul on that. As for her frustration with the partials and tracking? Well, we're getting there. Slowly. She also failed to actually watch our bag checks and therefore couldn't give us points for it. >_<
By the end of the day, I was just tired and frustrated. But I did clean up the office after all our messes. I was also brazen enough to chat with Jenni on the phone about relevant audit points while the auditor was in the room. She didn't seem to care.
Overall our score was close to a 93%. Which is pretty freaking fabulous. Company goal is 90. District average is 91. I think a 93 ties us with the highest score in the district. I would /really/ have liked to be over a 95, but I'm enjoying our moment of glory because if she goes to Loveland tomorrow, then we'll be right off the top of the pile again. My last audit there I had to try really hard to get them down to a 97. :3
Plus, they have warning. And don't have certain people's stupid failed tax exempt number or E's receiving issues.
I spent far more time than I would like to count today correcting all TEN open store transfers. And feeling retarded for not having fixed them after last week. Now I need to go back and make sure that the new way she's doing it is actually right. Which you'd think wouldn't be hard, but.... yeah.

The combined desires are probably a better reflection of my mental state than any thing else.
I really should eat since I haven't touched food since 7:30 this morning.
