setraSo... here's a probability for you. My cals teacher says that scores on the final are usually about the same as the average of the other tests for a given person. My average on previous tests is 65%... I need to get a 72% on the final in order to get a C in the class. How's that for odds? So... anyway. Matsuura-sensei says I can translate whatever the heck I want for extra credit, and will take all my journal entries as late as Friday. I love her. I also need to give my fixed kanji journal to Beeken-sensei and talk to Seargent-sensei(the Asian Studies advisor) about changing my major and all that paperwork. Plus I have oral interviews in japanese on Friday. But I'm basically done with calc apart from studying my ass off for the final. Thus, I'm sitting here for another 45 minutes or so, and then calling Kat to see if she wants to get food.
Heck, I may even find time to watch Yami no Matsuei tonight, which would be frikking awesome. Even if the Devils Trill arc isn't my favorite. I honestly can't wait for the next two discs, because King of Swords and the Kyoto Arc are my favorites and I've only ever seen them in crappy RealPlayer versions. Plus, KoS is the arc where Muraki tries to speak english.... really badly. I mean Really, Really badly. Acctually Tsuzuki and all the guards speak english to... Miki Shin'ichirou sounds really adorably lost and confused. Anyway, and Kyoto has Oriya, 'nuff said.
I'm also all starry-eyed over costumes again and want to work on them. I'm so glad Kat knows what we're doing for Arashi, because I was clueless. Oh, and anyone that wants to figure out how Hinoto's obi, and ties and stuff work will be added to my demi-god list.
As Kat already ranted rather well, I won't critique the Saiyuki dub more than to say that it sucked more than anything since Cardcaptors and Sailor Moon, and that the ADV script writers need to stop reading yaoi fanfics.
Ah... hm... Ok, I finally remembered to look up Akio's voice. His name is Kosugi Juurouta. Primary roles that I noticed were: Dreyden (Esca), Akio (Utena), Papa (Tennimon), Lantis+Zagato (MKR), and the Narrator for Yami no Matsuei. Add to that roles in Boku no Sexual Harassment, Earthian, Nadesico, Naruto and Please Save My Earth... and you see why I think he's pretty cool.
I think we should invent a game called "6 Degrees of Megumi Hayashibara". It would work like the Kevin Bacon version... only I'd know things about it. It would be a great "road-trip to con" car game. ^_^
So, now that I've babbled for ages about nothing at all... It's just past 5:30, and I'm gonna leave. Ja ne!
