setraPlatina lives. It's back to the basics for me... just getting Firefox and Netscape running. Starting to download some stuff from my old backups back in May. dr_devious got me Office Pro, so that's settled and I can get ready to rock this Precis for US-China Relations.
I'll still be upgrading to XP-Pro, whenever Brad gets the discs back, but it's not an urgent matter anymore. Thanks to everyone who was supportive and logical through this.... you guys rock. ^_^
This is now an official plea... and maybe I'll start a sharing circle. Any music you remember me liking/having? Anything you want to share with me? Drop it into a YouSendIt email and I'll be eternally gratefull. I'll also be willing to upload for you anything that I own the cd for and can rip. ^_^
