setraThere may be little else that all the RWT fangirling I've been doing recently (read: in the last month or so) but tonight I realized just how pleasant my happy place has become.
My brain can redirect the train of thought associated with almost any conversation to something that makes me happy.
Tonight I was kidnapped from an evening of sitting the the dark and dragged to IHOP. ^_^ I had good food and laughed a lot and ended up doodling InuKai chibis and notes about RWT on the foam take-home box with a toothpick. Anyway, it seems that almost anything that I might not have wanted to think about could be (and was) happily linked to something RWT related. We also got to bus our own table... that was fun.
When I got home, Logan pounced me to play Go on MSN. In addition to finding that I really like their system, I got to actually be /beating/ someone in Go (a new and wonderful experience for me, who has only played Tim any time in recent history). After he had to leave, I played against a lovely woman from New Zealand. She had only played a little before (like two games), so I played sensei... and won. A lot. She probably needed a 5 stone handicap at least, but it was a lot of fun.
Now I'm going to bed. Tomorrow I will acctually do work, I swear.
