I get to graduate~!

Talked with my advisor this morning. I'm set. Just the two history classes this semester (plus the requisite but unneccessary Japanese) and I'm DONE. I will join the ranks of the educated adults and get to move on. ^_______^

In other news, going back to work after a long time (read: four days) off is vaguely surreal. I felt almost out of place and incompetent again. (The fact that Michelle had just finished moving all the fabric in the front end didn't help.) But getting back into the swing of things was ok, and it was Dianna closing so we actually got out almost on time.
ladyofthegate was waiting for me outside (*hugs*), and we went over to see Clown Box at the Bas Bleu. It was awesome and there were pretty boys doing funny things and I laughed lots and was happy.

Now I'm home and have to be in at Path as early as possible tomorrow (ideally 6 or 7) to clean Colony and Maternity before work at 11. I get home as Jess leaves for Wearwolf, but hopefully between the two of us, we can get the main level cleaned into some semblance of order.
Carol and the twins come to visit from sunday on, so I'll be absent from many of the optional Japanese events and at home with babies much of next week. (子供=嬉しい・お金=いい事)

I'm getting into the point in this semester that will begin to test my will, my self-control, and my determination. Readings are steadily building, and I need to spend some serious time this weekend cleaning the house as well as scheduling and organizing all the projects (personal and academic), papers, books and activities that are coming up on me as the fall begins in ernest.

Today did not go as planned, but was good none the less. I slept rather than going in to Path crazy early, and so instead had to go in crazy-late.
Before that of course, was work at JoAnn. Rhonda is apparently a manager now... but has also been sick for 3 days. So we had Dianna instead for the evening (Michelle in the morning) - Dianna is awesome as always, and has fixed my availability issues for the next week at least. ^_^ Also got to see Alicia and Sara again, which was awesome. I got off only a little late, and trapsed off to Path. I was dreading going in today, but the new arrangement in Col+Mat made my life much better actually. Plus, I got kitten love. (You haven't lived until you've sat on the floor in a SEA of kittens. I kid you not, there are more than 25 of them in the medium sized pen in colony right now... it's nuts.)

I stopped to get gas on the way home. Prices make me cry. I owe Jess /so/ much gas money.
At home was the wonderful suprise of the table and kitchen being mostly clean. (It's mostly my crap left of course, and I feel bad that I've done so little work.) Not only that, but there was food on the stove! So I heated up dinner, and packed the rest away. A Maya with chiken and rice is a happy Maya indeed. *glomps ladyofthegate*

Want Kimeru's new single. Want to order from cdjapan... soon. Contemplating Espressivo 2 and Festas 7 and 8 as well. Must also keep money for Yaoi-con aside. >_<

Now I'm working on cleaning up my room (and running laundry, gah!), so I can shove all my crap in here and eventually get it all sorted out. Also on the schedule tonight if I stay awake is washing dishes and cleaning the half-bath on the main floor.
I just hope I can stay awake. Work at 11 again tomorrow. Then really late closing on sunday, but it's with Dianna and rearranging Home Dec, so it should be productive at least.
