Productivity is hard work

So I went out to drop Nikki and Corina back at home last night, and ended up deciding that Hey! I wasn't tired, so I should finally bite the bullet and work on Akram. So I did. As is traditional for my pre-AX costume crunch, I put on some TenniPri (DL1 and SeiRu) and just /worked/. Suddenly, and finally after all these months, I finally feel a little better about stuff. Of course, I still have way too much to do, and Colony and Maternity to clean today whenever I drag myself into work. And around 7 I sat down... and stopped moving for a couple of hours, so that didn't help. But I think now I want to attach the sleeves and get the neck line figured out and then I'll head into pathology. If this costume works I will be /so/ happy. Just need to figure out the hat thing. And maybe work on a mask tomorrow... oh yeah, and THE APPLIQUE and sebsequent embroidery but hey, let me be optimistic. (Yeah, Nikki pointed out that I only have 10 days left too. Funny that.)

Anyway, I'm gonna stop stairing at the Sota on my desktop and get back to work. I swear.

You know that feeling that hits you after about... *counts on fingers* 30 hours without sleep?

Ah well, you're not missing much. It's this odd drifting feeling... it's not that you can't do things or focus on them, it's just that they're kind of far away-feeling. Everything is just lower priority in your brain, and you lose track of thoughts or automatic behaviors.
Anyway, I'm gonna try to eat something and make it to 20:00 (which will be 32 hours, but who's counting). Then it's oyasumi time for me.

I think I'll go cuddle Ange some before I start in on Akram again though... I hope I got enough fabric...

Ok... so 8 pm became 11... putting me at 35 hours. As long as I don't move, I don't feel too bad, but the muscle strain from skating and tennis puled on top of the sewing shoulder cramps are a bit unpleasant.
Akram is going to be gorgeous. I have the large flower on the back fully done (1/4 inch zigzag all the way around it. It looks amazing. And I think I can still line the kimono after all this... maybe... if I find some stable cheap white. Tomorrow I want to lay out the spider web and see if I can get the base clouds on the back too. ^_^ I'm so excited to see how the silver and black look with the red and gold.

Anyway, now is sleep time. Oyasumi~!
