So... wow... time is strange.
It felt like sunday all day, and now it is... I feel lost.
I have a new resolution.
I'm going to stop whining. Of all my problems, there isn't one that I wasn't - at least in some way - responsible for, so I'm going to stop. If I can fix it, I will. If I can't I'll suffer. Done.
So, new topic... today was fluffy.
I slept for entirely too long this morning, and then woke up and translated Wieß. (The "An Assassin and White Shaman" artbook/manga that I got at Book-Off) It's so cool... even if Ken and Yohji are /really/ hard to translate because they talk like boys. (Gee, I wonder why?) We spent a lot of time with Chris and Elliot over lunch. And then with Gackt-guy Tim and some others over dinner. Lots of cool people, and fun games. I keep trying to form plans... but most of them never come about.
In other news, I have been rather Olivie-ish for a day or so... and I keep teasing Kat about Marcel... I should really stop.
Pirates is playing on the TV about 30 feet behind me... and I'm not watching it, though 80% of the rest of the dorm is. Hen, ne?

Achievments of the night:
Managed to get Winamp and Japan-A-Radio to work on one of the lab computers. This makes me very happy. As silly as it may sound, me being in Japan and all, I was missing Japan-A-Radio. Presumably this means that streaming video will work as well, but I've yet to try.
Other notes:
Neopets is bad for you. FieryMUD isn't much better.

Now I'm going to bed. I want to get up for Precure in... *blinks* 5 hours? Dang...

Today has been a lot of studying. We went our for lunch shortly after we woke up and also bought food for dinner. (Someday we'll learn to cook outside of rice-cookers and the microwave, I swear!). Then we studied... for about 4 hours, until dinner time. I basically had to bribe myself though flashcard reviewing by alternating with fic, but it worked.
Then I got my Anth article read, and we went down to get dinner. Hung out with people for a bit and worked on manga traslations. Well, Kat worked... I kept getting distracted by the TV or giggling about how /cute/ Schu is in the manga. (He is! Like cuddleably cute! So's Brad for that matter! It's so spiffy!)
Then we headed back up to the room, but I decided that checking on email and such was the best plan, since my brain was otherwise dead. Now I'm off to go through all the tango again and work on my kanji nikki. Maybe I'll even get around to catching up on the homework from back home. ^_^
In other news, I need more fic... I really, really do. Re-reading is all good, but finding new fic is better. It's just finding the good stuff that's hard. :(
