Same old story, wake up at 7, reset alarm for 7:15. Wake up at 7:15, turn off alarm, fall back into bed for 'just a few more minutes'. Wake up at exactly 7:45 by my clock, panic, run out the door as fact as possible. Only this time I paused to do dishes. So I was, again, a minute or two late to Asian Civ.
That class never ceases to amaze me. First with how early in the morning it acctually is, second with how much he can cover in 50 minutes. We still only barely touched on Ceylon, but he says we'll finish it tuesday. His daughter was there today because the elementary schools are out of session today.
Other that that, life is random. My depression assuaged by food and sewing and chocolate.
I'm making a purple satin corset, and with some more ribbon, black grommets and hooks and eyes, it'll be done. And it'll only have cost about $20. It will not be my Olivie corset, since it's rather... boosting, where Olivie needs to be the opposite. But whatever I do for Olivie's I may also use for Aya and (someday) Duo. I was thrilled because I realized that Gluhen Aya has the same bangs as Olivie, just parted to the side. They also have the same eye color, giving me even more excuse to buy violet contacts. ^_^ As for the three-foot braid? I've got that covered. ^_^
I looked over the YaoiCon schedule. Looked good this year, not as good as the last though. I'm sad I wasn't there this year, but the stress of a con right now would have broken me. So here's to next year! Where I will have awesome costumes of shiny bishonen-ness. ^_^
