Impending doom

My spanish proffessor is going to kill me. Or I'm just going to fail. Probably the later. She's more mellow that that. I think I donfuse her because she always sees me either outside Beeken-sensei's office, or like today, talking to the 日本人の先生.
Starting today. I will get all my homework done. Period. No more of this procrastinating and "forgetting". And we'll see if I can pass this class for real.
Now I have to go catch up on Japanese too... and work on my kanji notebook, which is so many pages behind...
And then get stuff for dinner tonight. Yep. Thank heaven for Bawls. Caffiene is good.

Summary: Post-movie. A series of unfortunate coincidences lead Elizabeth, Will, and Jack into a very bad situation, with all three of them being forced to consider thier emotions and life goals in the process.

Ok... it's a lot better than my summary makes it sound. This is a great action/romance story that very much matches the feel of the movie. The characters' relationships and dialogue are very well written and the one OC that's introduced is not bad at all. The setting is vivid and well researched. It's also one of the first long-running well-writen PotC fics that I've found. There is subtext for pretty much any pairing involving Jack, Will and Elizabeth, but as yet there have been nothing more than implications.

Random Rantings...

So today in CW we got back out character sketches for our ideal lover and most hated person...

Then I went to the store thing to get some food and had an odd craving for Rye Bread... only after I'd eaten the sandwich did I realize why /that/ particular thing triggered in my brain. (anyone that can guess THAT connection deserves pocky).
Anyway... erm... yeah. Dinner tonight at 6:30 at River Rock. Call the house after 4:30 and I'll be there to give directions or whatever... Mira stole my cell phone so I don't have it on me.
