Wow. So the episode goes: Meaningfull InuKai moment, followed by Inui going "Heh, and here you thought we were just sucking because we /couldn't/ do well. No, no, no... I just needed to gather data in order to best show these foolish mortals the smack-down, geek style!". Momo then says that he was worried about Kaidoh, Ryoma teases him for paying attention to another man worrying about Kaidoh, and Momo procedes to get really flustered.
There's the long involved flashback in the middle about how Inui and Kaidoh have been (training) together for weeks, and weeks... and... man, this show really doesn't bother to hide it's subtext does it?
In the end, though Inui's awesomeness was not quite enough. But he and Kaidoh will still play doubles. ^_^ I'm glad that Ohtori and Shishido won though. It would suck way to much for them to get dropped from the regulars after all they've been through (and they almost certainly would, even if Oshitari and Gakuto apparently didn't yet).]

Aw, this is going to be a Kawamura episode... versus Kabaji. My lack of interest is overwhelming.

Wow. Atobe even said it, Kabaji really is just dumb as a rock. Just really good at tennis too. And now I see the point of this match... to watch Atobe sit in the stands, order Kabaji around and be smexy.
*grumble* Dang, for once I wanted Seigaku to win. ;_;
