Prince of Tennis, of course.
I lost a nice long rant due to Netscape closing windows, but...
I finished up the 25-26 double episode (I fell asleep halfway through last night ^_^)
I had a long rant while watching Episode 27, because it was fluffy and the plot was Ryoma's cat going missing. It also had cute character bits for almost everyone.
Episode 28 introduced the actual plot (tournament). As well as creepy Mizuki and pissy Yuuta-kun from Saint Rudolph. Sadly, I can't look at or think about Yuuta without giggling, so the angst fails to hit me.
I am /such/ a Fudomine fangirl. They rock. I love Akira-kun (not even just for his voice) and Shinji is funny. Plus, Tachibana is just awesome.
Episode 28 (second half)
Wai! Tezuka-bucho actually played! *more fangirling than for Atobe*
Oh, Mizuki trying to be a badass. All sneaky and aiding the opponents. But Inui's onto him. And the Golden Pair won anyway. ^_^ <- ureshii!
Episode 29
Hm... because Fudomine is awesome, that's way. Foolish weaklings.
And Sengoku. Who's cute. Though not as cool as Akira-kun. Poor boy, no one listend to him. Ooh, Momo and Kaidoh being all mad at eachother is not a good thing, I predict.
Holy crap! Right... because Hyotei is a HUGE team. And Atobe really is a self-absorbed whore.
*laughs* Ah... Yuuta-kun... no bitterness dear. It isn't good for you. And oh man, but he's bitter.
Aw... Momo/Kaidoh doubles is funny. I reallly hope they win. Meh. I miss "You Got Game" being the closing.
Episode 30
Wow. Mizuki is creepy. Like Hakkai /trying/ to be creepy. Still really polite and all.
*cheers* Yay for Kaidoh!
Fuji's voice actress is so cool. Just a note.
I /love/ this show. I really do. And I acccept than no one else will care... but I get a kick out of it. And it's not even for the subtext at all... I barely even see subtext.
Episode 31
Ooh. The preview made this look like a Golden Pair episode... I'm excited.
*looks up from witing pair rantage*
Holy-! They're beathing the Golden Pair? 2 games to 0!?!? *angry* No fair, picking on Kikumaru-kun. Yay! Golden Pair! makeruna! (Hah! And guess who voices Kikumaru? Takahashi... Not-Naozumi! Hiroki, whatever.)
And to bely what I said earlier...
Current Subtext Analysis
Kikumaru/Oishi - Really fluffy, and cute. But then, they /are/ the Golden Pair.
Tazuka/Oishi - There are hints, I think... but due to my attachment to the above, I ignore them as friendship.
Fuji - There's subtext with Kawamura, but I generally ignore his existence. I don't see Fuji being more than friends and team-mates with Tezuka. Mostly I think he's running about being creepy. Though I still look forward to his propositioning of Yuuta...
Inui/Kaidoh - Oddly enough, I see this... just the pairing, not necessarily the order. The fact that Inui can tell Kaidoh's moods and is always coming up with new ways for him to train... ok, so maybe I'm crazy.
Momo/Ryoma - So it's everywhere... if you want to look for it. If you don't, then Momo's just taking care of the freshman. Either way, it's one of the more well-developed relationships in the show, and it's cool to watch.
Now I'll stop this foolishness and go do something usefull. As soon as the GP match is over. Yep. ^_^
And something that fangirls should keep in mind before getting bitter over pairings:
Quoth Tezuka: "It's an odd pairing, but the result is better than expencted."
Current Bishounen: Oishi Shuichiro (so hard to choose... /so/ hard. Tezuka and Fuji and Kamio and Kikumaru and Momo and even Inui were all really close...)
