Wow... Yesterday I met Duo. No, really. So the gender was a bit off, whatever. We found a Karaoke place with Hyperjoy machines. They had "Jealousy". They had "Hikigane wo Hike!"... I didn't even really get to look at Sakamoto Maaya's section. They had Yorihisa and Tennma's duet from the HaruToki single I've been translating... Anyway, it was cool, very very cool. And I might get Duo to sing Oscar and Olivie's Duet with me... and she can sing true Tenor.

This morning we woke up horribly early to head off to Kyoto to meet Duo and then head to Himeji for hanami. I was worried that the trains would take a long time, but it all worked out rather well in the end.
I /love/ Himeji-jo. Just as much as I did before, if not more. It was very... natsukashii. In addition to being beautiful and spiritual (less the latter, due to the large numbers of people present, but still). I got to go to Shinko's room again (well, Shinko's mother's room really, but Shinko was chibi there, or so she tells me).
So after a lot of wandering, and a bit of shopping, we left Duo to catch a shinkansen back to Kyoto and headed off to Osaka. We were thinking of searching around Kyobashi for the Animate... but ended up going to the big Mandarake near Osaka-eki. I bought a lot... or rather, not much for a lot of money. Kat bought nothing. Tim bought doujin for his sister and best friend.
We then headed to Kyobashi and ate at the Wendy's... the comfort of ordering a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is really rather rediculous.
Anyway, upon returning, I collapsed in a puddle and swore never to move again. At least not until I'd listened to my first aquisition: the first Seitokai Shikkobu drama CD. So I listened to the first half of the first chapter and then headed down to... wait for a computer.
So I read for Anth and listened to more.
I knew I liked/was going to like Ishikawa Hideo for a reason. There were moments where I could imagine him as Squall, but mostly he was just cool. *cuddles Tokitou* Morikawa Toshiyuki I sort of expected to be awesome... and he is... Kubota is funny. Hikaru Midorikawa as a teen idol was really cute... though I'm sure that wasn't what he was going for. He reminded me of a really young Schu... with no powers, but all the ego.
Also liked "Blood, Sweat, No Tears" a lot more than I expected to... it being semi-rap and all. But then again, I'm in a wierd mood tonight.
Of course, while I was procrasinating on my essay...s... I finished the Drama CD and started to listen to the /other/ cool CD I bought: "Shounen Alice" (the new Sakamoto Maaya album). It is, as expected, all good. She wrote the lyrics for about 3/4 of the songs this album. And Yoko Kanno has done some cool stuff with the music (what else is new). I'm following my new rule: buy CDs, they make you happy. Stuff is ok, music is better (and easier to pack).

Anyway... now I really do need to go right that paper(s).

Current Bishounen: Tokitou, Kubota, Aya (the last because we had a long conversation about removing his clothes on the way home... don't ask, it's best that way.)
Current Bishoujo: Sakamoto Maaya (for music) and Kawakami Tomoko (Katsuragi from the Drama ^_^)
