setraHm... yay for actual updates.
Mostly I'm writing to make sure that my brain still functions and didn't really leak out my ears during Anthropology. It's sad, the class looks so amazingly interesting... and the teacher is just so incredibly dull.
However, I made it though my Thursday with a minimum of carnage and only a few hurried appologies to my Japanese teacher.
I've eaten nothing but Chocolate pan since... last night's dinner. But Kat is going to pick up bento on the way home from classes.
I'm trying really hard not to think about money, but I think I'll be ok. I traced the rest of my finance issues to paying my credit card bill, so atleast I know where the money went. I just wish I'd beaten the money out of my father before he went off to Australia (which apparently, has no internet, or something...). Now it's just a matter of snuggling my mom for the money she promised or being nice to Carol for the other (which is hers, not dads, but he was supposed to give it to me).
There's also this rant I need to do.
I love the group I'm working with right now.
I love that they're all committed and that they're /real/ serious cosplayers. I love that they are organized. I love that we all use character names and our own interchangibly. I love that they're willing to invest in really nice things from Japan for the sake of the costume and the group.
I love that this group is actually going to happen. I am a very, very happy fangirl/cosplayer right now.
I have to run now to get down to Hirakata-shi and buy an AM radio and then get back before 6:30 to stake out a TV and record Saiyuki RELOAD for Kat.
Yep, such is life in Japan.
