And then there was 22, and that was no kind of ending, leaving everyone in shock and leaving Ayumu's answer unspoken. And then 23, which only left Madoka in danger and Ayumu barely on the edge of awakening, with everyone else lost, wandering, scared.
And now I have an hour left, which will only make it 11... so maybe that's ok.

And then 24. And I'm going to KILL Kanone. And where is everyone else, why hasn't Ayumu contacted them, or why haven't they found anything out? Eyes! Eyes should know! He knows Kanone and he believes in Ayumu... Damnit! I've never been so annoyed at a show before. Well, here's the end... off I go.

Ok. I broke down and made notes... here they are: (starting just before the eyecatch)
And under the moon, all things become possible, all doors open. Eyes came back, the one person capable of defusing Kanone. The one person whoes belief was unshaken by Kanone's mind games.
And here I am, left breathless.
I can't stop crying. It's so beautiful, everyone back where they should be. If anyone can bring Ryoko back and help her, it's Kousuke. And through it all, the piano, Eyes... no, Ayumu. So perfect, so gentle, so sad yet hopefull.
And Kanone lives, but at least he's gone, and maybe with some new strand of hope. And Eyes has let go, which is good, important. Though it would be best if Kanone could come to terms with the possibility of salvation rather than getting himself killed. It would be better for Eyes that way.

Ok, I don't know what peoples problem with the ending was. I liked it. Infact, that's pretty much my favorite type of ending, and rarely are they executed so well. Yes, I'd still like more. So I WILL be buying the manga in Japan. Unless Kat gets to it first... ^_^
Using the full version of the ending song was a nice touch, one that I've not seen a show use before. And the final few moments were really sweet. The meaning of the lyrics to "Cocktail" really fell into place in the last few episodes. Especially the final line (the title of this entry), which translated roughly to "How can I live well for this one life?" And in the end wasn't this another show about making Kamui accept that destiny can be changed? (Sorry, TV Kamui is the same seiyuu as Ayumu, I believe) I don't know, I'm just happy. Relived that it was a good ending, even if it was open. At least it wasn't like Noir, or Bebop.
So, today:

Cleaning Room - 4 hours
Kanji journal - 2 hours
Other chores - 2 hours
Current Time: 11 PM
Now I'm off to bed. With pleasant dreams hopefully, or at least ones that involve bishounen. I'm really happy, I can now reccomend Spiral to people and acctually have seen all of it... *happy sigh*

Pretty new icon finnaly completed. It should have been much faster, but I had to spend 45 minutes cleaning up the images I downloaded from the website (they got all spotty for some reason...) There may well be a new version with other words later, but for the moment, I'm going to bed. ^_^
