Today was good. Then again, Fridays are always nice. ^_^ Today involved wonderful CDs, lots of singing, and a cute fluffy sumo movie, though not it that order.

We finished "Shikofunjatta" in class today. It was fluffy... but I found the girl that Haruo wound up with to be creepy, so wasn't too happy with that. The "english" guy was very pretty in his school uniform though, and of course there was the usual Shuuhei eye candy. ^_^
After that... and finding out about my spoken Final exam (a 6 minute speech plus answering questions from the teacher)... I was settled well into my happy place and pretending the world didn't exist.
We ate lunch in the caffeteria, and then walked down to Karaoke. The introduction of new people made it more interesting than previous weeks, but I got the distinct feeling that some people didn't have much fun. (*gomen ne*)
I did drink lots of tea, and it helped to fight my sore throat (would have done more, had I not been singing too) ^_^.
After karaoke we walked on over to Tsutaya and BookOff (by way of a little ghetto bookstore where I got some cheap manga and spent 200 yen trying to win a PS2 from a game machine. At Tsutaya we searched for Onmyouji DVDs, but ended up only finding Onmyouji II... which we now get to watch tommorrow. ^_^ Yay! Also got the next volume or Jeanne of course, and I rented a three-disc set of Angelique Trois image songs and dramas ("Love Call").
In BookOff, I found the "Espressivo" album from KinIro... for 1000 yen. It's only two months old and a 3000 yes CD at full price... this book off doesn't realize what they have. For once I could walk away from "Schlag das Hertziens" (Weiss album) without feeling in the least guilty. ^_^
On the way home, I got another liter of 98-yen orange juice from the sneaky grocery store, and listned to Espressivo all the way through... almost twice. ^_^

Espressivo is possibly the best album I've bought while in Japan. I reminds me of all the things I used to love about classical music. ^_^ It seems to frame the right begining and end of this semester in my mind, I began the trip with "Tagesanbruch" and now I end it with "Espressivo".
It also didn't cost too much, just nicely filled out my allotted CD/DVD money for the rest of the trip. I set a limit the other day (just before Nao-kun on 6/2) of 6000 yen. I have since spent:
6/2 - 1300 yen - Q.T. Honey - "June"
6/2 - 300 yen - Dream-"Get Over" and Gackt-"君が追いかけた夢"
6/2(6/23) - 1000(+2200) - 高橋直純 - "Indicate"
6/7 - 1000 yen - 金色のコルダ - "Espressivo"
= 5800 yen
Which leaves me a nice 200 yen for a single or two (or twenty at BookOff), if I find something I /really/ need.
I feel very peaceful about that, now I /can't/ be tempted by more Drama CDs, or by Twin Collections (*cries a bit at that*). I should be good.
