Beloved Rush
Work and not.
I got some work done and also got Japan-A-Radio to work at home... this is good. I also found more fics.
Mostly for my own amusement, a short rant on:
I'm hitting the end of the Weiss fics... or was until earlier tonight. My problem is that I get deep into a fandom (first GW and now Weiss) and it's all good in the begining. Then slowly I start to specialize. I eliminate things from what I'll read until I'm left with a very narrow base of acceptable fics... most of which I've read or proceed to read in short order. What these particular kinks are, I'll leave out. But it was my tiring of cliche in GW and my fruitless search for a certain type of fic that really let me fall out of the fandom. The same process of specialization occured rapidly in the Pirates fandom as well. I don't think that'll happen with Weiss, I hope it won't... there aren't many fandoms this big on the net and if I start running them out how will I ever feed my addiction?
Suffice it to say that tonight I found a part of what I've been searching for... and it made me happy.
Now I have an asian civ test in just over 8 hours and I'd better get some sleep.
Also, I found two communities that update often enough to give me stuff to read in my obsessive checking. Though fandom_recs has been quiet of late (save, 10 recs in the past few hours),![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
cosplay is rather cool. Right, sleep.
Bishonen: Yohji (has there been anyone but him and Aya in the past three weeks?)
Bishojo: Hayashibara Megumi (so *cute* Squee!)
