Rambles of a more plesant nature
And now for more plesant things... (apart from the fact that I'm not asleep yet >_>)
DD-Boys!
Watching this show is the most fun I've has in a while. It's silly. Really, really silly. But they boys are gorgeous, and the lessons they learn are good.
I watched 6 and 7 the other night. 6 was Kaji's technically, but since Zukki and Wada got involved, it was a good episode about teamwork and determination. And they were funny. ^^
General Notes:
-Kansai-ben is hot in real life too. Wada in particular, though Araki is fun that way too.
-Wada is in like... every episode.
-Nakagawa's description of himself made me giggle... "when I was little, there'd be people outside playing soccer and stuff, all 'gya-gya'... and I'd stay inside with my sister and play with dolls and things. I was a bit girlish."
7 was Yanagi and Yuuya, and while they failed and neither are my favorites... it was touching. And good in that way that the double Ryomas are. ^^ Also, this was "Maboroshi Series Part 1"
8 (watched much later) Involves Shirotan again... and he is a SPAZ. The episode challenge belongs to Yuuya (poor thing, I guess 7 was Yanagi's?)... his was the first time since (or maybe Shirotan) that I could feel the pain and determination. But then, I always liked Yuuyan. ^_^
9 was watched after 8 while still not sleeping... Nakagawa looks like a tiny tiny version of Kimeru. o.o Enter Igarashi. This is their episode. And they get to go to Kyoto to go hiking, the lucky bastards. "Maboroshi-Series Part 2" Un-failure. 54200-yen. Damn. Nicely done boys.
10 was Araki and Kumai's episode. Araki is very kakkoi... and knows it. But he's a sweetheart under it all, and the episode proved that.
11 was Adachi. And apart from involving a host club in Kabuki-cho (yes, I was amused to death and the No. 1 there was hot), it was a good experience for him. I want to see him grow up to be a real strong actor. And I think the determination is there once he gets out of his shell.
12 (I watched before 10 and 11) was Minakawa's... he's flippy. And determined... but was still a little hesitant for my taste. After seeing people like Wada it felt a little ... chuutohanpa.
Notes from the Vol. 3 special features:
-the pitcher that struck Araki out was named Tezuka
-Yuuya stalked Adachi to work
-Adachi told Yuuya that the number 1 looked like him... but I spent the whole time thinking how he looked a bit like Araki. >_> *not fixated*
-after being told 'just, please don't hurt yourself' Minakawa did... on his second flip... it was only his finger, but he sat out the whole first day. They said that could be his new technique and he'd be done. :P
